The Argos have also released the lone remaining DB veteran on the roster Pacino Horne allegedly to allow him to pursue NFL interests... don't know about that, but he was seen in the parking lot at practice yesterday complaining loudly about needing to get paid. Some wonder if he tried to use the lack of returning vets in our secondary as leverage for a raise.

i've seen reports (and my own observations) that he'd had a good camp. i think this is just indicative of our receiver corps being deeper this year and harder to crack.

they may frame it that way... but he was heard complaining about how he "has to get paid". he was a terrific player. going to miss him.

i think he was just being a malcontent about it. 

Wonder why they wouldn't just keep him(Hurst) around and IR him then...  They've been waiting on him for a year

 

EDIT: Barker said on Argos Access this evening that Hurst did his ACL. poor kid. 2 season-ending injuries, 2 seasons in a row.

 

two reasons:

- Trent Guy fills the same role

- Hurst's hands are suspect according to some
