CF sneaks in for the TD....70 yard drive looked easy... Bad opening on D.. Bombers give up single on kickoff. 11-0 Riders. Zac over the middle to Demski for 15... Zac finds McCray for 17 yards.... Collaros pressured....stripped of the ball.... .....Riders recover......this is not trending well.... CF completes 4 short passes...... Jefferson kills that drive with his sack of Fajardo.. Lauther hits 47 yd FG...now 11-0..... Brutal first quarter for the Blue....Riders 140 yds on O. CF finds Evans who takes it down to the Bomber 30 Hickson catches hitch pass....but falls down short of marker... 30 yard FG has Riders up 14-0. Wake up call required. Zac throws to Wolitarsky on 2nd down for 20... Zac finds Bailey for 10. Collaros has time..... ...and hoists up a long ball dime to Demski... ..who makes a nice over shoulder catch for the 50 yd TD!! 14-7 Riders. Huge play for the Bombers. Cody F. called for delay of game.... ....but avoids tackle, finds Hickson who rolls down to Blue 25. Rider FG makes it 17-7. Oliveria keeps getting the 1st down carry....with little result.. Leggs back to punt...2 Riders on top of him.....disaster. But somehow Leggs steps between them and gets off good punt... CF with time count violation...then a Riders offside.... CF pressured - incomplete. Draw to Hickson stuffed.... Good field position. McCray sweeps for 15.... ZC rolls out and has Schoen in the back of the end zone.... ....drops a dime in there...nice catch for the TD!! 17-14.... Starting to feel a bit better about things...gin consumption leveled off.... Fajardo screens to the elusive Hickson for good gain... Sask with holding penalty....then CF sacked by Jeffcoat..... Commander Cody feeling the heat now...throws it away... Olivera runs for short gain. Do we have any other play on FD? Zac throws to Demski and Bailey for first downs.... Prukop comes in and runs round the end for another.... Leggo comes in and hits 42 yd field goal 17-17 tie at the half.. Oliveria gets tough yard on yet another first down run.... Blue scratch out a FD.......punt.....kick coverage good so far... Hickson makes 3 Bomber miss.....for 8. CF pressured by Jefferson... ...but escapes and has Lenius for big gain.....and gets Riders out of a hole.. 57 yard FG attempt by Lauther misses....Holm with pretty good return... Bombers go two and out. Hickson takes screen and goes for 25... Blue DB coverage still looks soft Holm with 20 yd punt return.... Hansen goes down, helped off the field. No points by either team in 3rd Q. Fajardo throws his best pass of the game - 27 yards to Evans... Duke Williams takes a "misconduct" penalty, while wearing street clothes.... .....absolute winner of the dumbest penalty of the year... Riders follow that up with illegal blocking call.......now out of FG range... Collaros's long pass almost caught by Demski....but pass knocked away... CF gets sacked by Rutlidge. Both teams having hard time moving the ball... Punt goes over Holm's head and has to concede the go ahead single 18-17 Riders... Zac rolls out and hits Schoen for FD. Zac finds Woltman for another.. Leggs comes out with 3:00 left to try a 55 yard FG with the wind..... .....and drills it right through!! 20-18 Bombers. Fajardo throws a couple of passes for FDs. Hickson takes option play... ....and runs down to the Bomber 26. Need a D hold, here... CF throws up the middle, off Hickson's hands..... .....and Hallet comes up and intercepts it!!! Bomber ball!! Zac 2nd down pass to Woltman for huge first down.... Demski sweeps for 8. Prukop in, and he runs round the end for FD. Bombers finally have to punt, but Alford stays in bounds on the return.. 8 seconds left. Fajardo throws up a prayer.....but receiver double covered... ....and knocked down by Bighill...45 yds down the field.... Game over. 11-1.
