So as good as Reilly's numbers are, odds are against him winning MOP after missing the playoffs. He sucked the last half of the season. He doesn't deserve that award.
November 3, 20187 yr The other two players were basically the entire team by themselves. Burden set a CFL record for rushing in a single season in 1975 (since broken) while Edwards dominated similarly in 1977 rushing for over 1,500 yards. Both players didn't have a qb like Reilly on their team. Burden had Joe Pisarcik while Edwards had Jimmy Jones. They put their teams on their back & carried them. Reilly struggled without Derel Walker & especially after Duke Williams was hurt. Edited November 3, 20187 yr by SpeedFlex27
