That is my point though just because you have a QB coming off a Grey Cup winning team and put him onto another team does not mean that he is going to change the team around. If that is all we are doing is changing one QB that had potential at one point to another one that has potential are we really upgrading or are we staying status Quo. Does it not make more sense to upgrade the position with a proven starter and try to bring along the QB's that could become our starters. I guess we will see if Hamilton is better with Collaros then with Burris.

I would take Burris over Collaros any day at this point. At least he has had more than 1 year experience. We have been relying on a whole bunch of QB's that have Potential and looked decent on other teams. But Potential and $2 gets you a cup of coffee. Look at what happened to Reilly when he went to Edmonton. He had potential and did not do much better than the Bombers last season with it on a new team.

I have taken the Park and Ride from Club Regent during the week day games and it was about 45 Minutes. The weekend games I will probably take the Park and Ride from the Hydro Building on Taylor between 15 - 20 minute ride from there.

Just thinking that under some severance packages it is not tied to what job you get just that you get a job and the previous employer does not have to pay you any more. Not sure if that is the same for coaches or not.

Blowing the team up at the end of the year is probably going to happen. But I think there needs to be more investigation into who you bring in. If Burke and Mack goes and the hire someone else Then are we not going to be paying 3 head coaches at the same time. Not sure if LaPo's contract is done now that he is working for TSN or not. But then Burke and the new Head Coach. If we keep blowing the team up every 2 - 3 years that is why the organization cannot spend the money to bring in a full coaching staff. I am getting tired of this revolving door of coaches you need to go all the way back to Bud Grant 1957 - 1966 to see a coach that has lasted more than 3-5 years in a row. Cal had a total of 8 years but was two 4 years stints with 6 years between (83 - 86, 93-96). He was the GM for that time though (83 - 96). Sounds like they left Bryant in Montreal in the hospital when they returned home this morning.

Hope everything is ok with him. Heard on Sports Centre and read in attached article that after the game he was taken to locker room on stretcher and was taking oxygen. But if they insist on starting it this weekend then why not at least have 1 game this weekend. Sure there is a short turn around but they do it throughout the season why not this weekend. If they are not going to do anything with the weekend then raises the question as to why does the season start so late so that we end up ending the season well into November. I remember not that long ago that the season was ending in around Remembrance day and not near the end of the month. Just saying with the shorter summers we have in Canada why not use them.

So here we are on the eve of the 146th birthday of this great country and it got me to thinking. The CFL is so high on having the opening weekend be the Canada Day weekend for its various reason's. But with that being the case why is there not any CFL football on the holiday Monday of the weekend. Just something to ponder as everyone goes out to enjoy the birth of this great country.
