Was an awesome Bomber and always seemed like a good guy.
While I'll always remember Milt for his TD's and Charlie for his spin moves, TE will be remembered for sacrificing his body time after time going up for balls that other guys (all younger) shy'd away from...I guess that's why he had such a great career. Again too bad he's retiring without a GC.

Lets all hope that Drew Willy is the QB we've been dreaming of and not another...Goltz, Boltus, Hall, Brink, Elliot, Jyles, Michna, Ah Yet, Bishop, Lefors, Quinn, Dinwiddie, Banks, Barnes, and of course Tee Martin (I left out Pierce, Glenn, and Khari because they had success and took us to the Grey Cup, that being said I hope Willy eclipses them all!).

Sounds like an amazing day KBF, this club has so much history. It would be awesome to see these stories relayed to newer fans during 'ingame' entertainment at the IGF. Thanks for sharing.

My thoughts...
-Disappointed that we didn't get Hank but at $465,000 Walters made the right move.
-While Burris would have given us a legit starter and probably 8 or 9 wins that likely doesn't get us in the playoffs.
-We were probably looking at Burris for two years which really is a stop gap. Maybe it's best that this happens and it forces us to 'do it the right way' and find a long term answer.
-Just sucks to know that we have no chance at a GC this year and probably next (assuming we are developing a young QB), which would mean a win in 2016...26 years between Championships, I'd be 33 and too old to really enjoy it.
-Mostly disapointing because acquiring Banks and Burris sent a message that we want to win NOW.

Is it possible that Bauer was approached by a board member (in the midst of a week where the club was thrown into complete and utter chaos) to see if he would be open to the possibility of a return in some capacity...

Madani isn't the most credible of sources. I'm not giving up on Goltz yet considering our other options are practically hopeless, Max Hall really doesn't seem like a fit for the CFL game and Buck is broken.
If these guys think we need to have a ''win now'' mentality we have a dumber organization then I possibly could've thought.
But Madani is still super connected when it comes to the B & G, first through the office...then to the team.

Nothing new to really add, like most of you I'm not a huge fan his personally but bringing in someone who knows the game can't be a bad move. I don't see how this can make us worse.

Probably doesn't require it's own thread but did I see Brady Browne on the sidelines tonight? Is he with the coaching staff in some capacity or was he just with the team cause the game was in BC (I think he's from the area but idk forsure)
Tough one tonight, will be an interesting couple of weeks...or maybe not who the f*** knows anymore.

Awesome, Will be cool to see Chuck in town and hear what he's been up to. I'm sure that he'll be disappointed to know that The Charley has closed and he can no longer enjoy their fabulous VLT lounge while sipping on a rye and coke in between cigarettes!

Does anyone know if the "Bomber Traffic Plan" is in place for concerts also?
I have Taylor Swift tickets and if 30,000+ people are left to their devices it could get ugly next week. Thats the next big test.
Yes it is in effect, but as Garth mentioned at the PC today the concert is on a Saturday so if you wanted to get there 7 hours early you're more than welcome to do so.

700 bikes at last night's #Bombers game. Bike coral can hold 400.
So basically every single non-car driving to the university method of getting to the stadium was underestimated by a huge %
The Bike Valet can hold 400, in addition to that they have the bike coral's outside of the stadium that you can lock your bikes up on your own, but only a hundred of those. At least that's how I understood it, I could be wrong though.

What idiot decided that out of a potential 33,500 people only 5000 would use the bus?
After telling everyone for 2 years that they SHOULD take the bus and that it'll be the quickest and most convenient way in and out.

One of the reasons why concession lines were so bad was because 25% of the staff couldn't make it to the game on time...makes sense lol

He is dumb. It's too bad. He won't be here next year and I wish him luck in his future endeavours. He tweeted out a picture today and his finger nails are way too long for a man in the 21st century. That said there is a decent chance he'd beat me up in a fist fight so I hope he never sees this.
