If anyone has tickets for sale to the game, I'd love to take them off your hands. Will take anywhere from 2 - 6, location doesn't really matter, will pay face value.
Thanks!

Swamp People >>>>> Duck Dynasty, that's just a fact.

However with all that being said, i remember a couple seasons ago, our last playoff victory in winnipeg i believe, vs hamilton, chris garrett ran the ball down their throats and basically we won the game cuz hamilton couldn't stop him. I guess in the CFL, it is a passing league but at times, later in the year when it gets colder, a good running game can win you games.
Coupled with the most anemic offensive performance I'd seen in a while on Hamilton's part.
That game was freezing! Had to drink a lot to keep warm....

Hmmm... what's that stat about Andrew Harris ? If has 20+ carries, they've only lost one game?
I think that's because the only time Harris can get over 20 carries is when their passing game is successful enough that they either have a big lead, or they have the ball so much that he ends up getting that many carries.
If it was simply that when Harris carries the ball lots their offense is successful, then he would get 20+ carries every single game. It would be stupid of them not to.
And if the run game was irrelevant and the passing game was so good, why not just keep passing then?

There's a Holiday Inn at Portage and Colony?
You might be staying at an army surplus store...lots of tents and beef jerky though.
Yeah on the north side of Portage iirc.

So what is the actual deal with him missing the game? Did the team suspend him? Did the league suspend him? Is he in jail? Is he not allowed to leave the city and will still play home games?

Article from TSN, not clear though.

That's pretty awesome. Love the respect he shows to the rest of the offense too. Nothing seems to phase him, that's for sure.

Wow that group of receivers just got a whole lot weaker... So of course we're going to piss this game away now. Everything falling in the Bombers favour, short week for the Riders, guys nicked up, best receiver out of the lineup, perfect conditions for the Bombers to lay an egg. God I hope that's just being beaten down by the last few years talking.
I swear, every week there's a post like this and we end up with the W.. Let's hope the trend continues! *knocks on wood*
And every week there's someone posting about how everyone isn't pissing rainbows.
That said, the one week I picked Bombers to win in the pick ems they lost. So I now I pick them to lose out of stubbornness.

Let's go with.. Feoli-Gudino

Never been a fan of Blackmon. He'd probably be decent here I guess. In the NFL I can't envision him ever becoming a star.
Really??... did you ever watch him play? In 4 games last year he had 29 catches, 415 yard and a TD.... and that's playing for Jacksonville!... If he can get it together.... he will absolutely be a star... might be too late for him now...
Absolutely agree. That said, there have been a couple of rough cases that travel to the CFL after the NFL tires of their antics, but just don't think Blackmon would be one of them. Jags are desperate though, no way they let him go.

I even have a Blackmon jersey! C'monnnn....

Went to across the board when I was in town this past weekend. Nice concept, good was pretty pricy, but nice variety of games, and would be nice for the occasional get together.

As for Grigsby, looks like team have caught on. He hesitates, stops his feet, gets hit. Cotton's run looked good though

What a difference with these two individuals from last year in comparison...coach and quarterback
One thing than annoyed me though, was leaving Willy in with 3 minutes to go when it was obvious that this was not going to be a comeback. I was concerned about him getting injured for no reason at this point. No one is pulling their young QB's this year.

I actually really like Hustler. You'll hear Lawless start going off on a tangent, and he'll just step in and divert the conversation back to something somewhat reasonable almost seamlessly.

Forgot to add I am quite excited to see two of the up and coming QB's face off tonight..

Anyone know how much Jovon is getting paid? Just for comparison...

Tickets available on ticketmaster:

Section 201-215: 279 seats available
Section 101-115:
Aw ****, they turned off the seat map. Nevermind.
Well thanks for trying

I saw somewhere the updated sales was 29,100? Come on guys! Where's the person that counts the open seats on Ticketmaster?
-
Pretty much what I thought when they started playing good. 1500 - 2000 more tickets each week and if they are still playing good a sell out August 7
Aug 7 will sell out for sure.... unfortunately it will involve about 5000 green jerseys but the bombers still make the profits...
I doubt that. It's a Thursday night game and there aren't that many at the Banjo Bowl on a Sunday.
There's a ton of Rider fans in Winnipeg. Not sure 5,000, but a good number.

By the end of that phone call, I wanted to punch BOTH of them in the face.
Long shot but... (Banjo Bowl)

There's one pair in the top row and in the family section - but for the most part yes. Anyone know if the release additional tickets for this game as well?
