Oppam gangnam style
QB Sack gang-tackle style.

Does this earn him the label of injury prone?

The problem on University Crescent heading south was the u-turning ill informed drivers trying to get to the stadium. The WPS were making people from both lanes u-turn at the Markham intersection, blocking both lanes of traffic while they explained to the drivers why they couldn't drive into the university. This was the case at 6:50 pm.
Then maybe have the buses come down markham and take a right onto university crescent. Car traffic goes down university crescent until markham where they are forced into the oncoming lanes in the intersection or uturn if they went in the wrong entrance.

I wonder how much the league is getting paid for these. Probably next to nothing in order to make it attractive for the networks to pickup. If it goes over well, then maybe they could ask for more.
-
Lucky for the Winnipeg Football Club there are some simple solutions to the problem here.
You hit the nail on the head. It seems most of the problems can be solved by having a dedicated lane for buses to use. It would be great if we already had rapid transit lanes to the stadium, but for the time being, they might have to block off one of the outgoing lanes on university crescent and route bus traffic down there.

Etienne is a Saskatchewan boy, no?
He grew up in small town Saskatchewan, didn't even have a TV in the house! Did all of his CIS stuff in the big rectangle too.

I had left on my bike right from work at 4:30, stopped by woodcock cycle on st. mary's as my bike still needs a front cargo rack. Was there for maybe 20-30 minutes. Then I went right to the stadium. I could bike right down University Cres. at around 5:30-5:40, basically no traffic yet. Bike valet was just setting up as I got there, so I had to wait maybe 10 minutes to check my bike in.
After the game, I started heading down from the upper deck with about 2 plays to go. Watched them both from the nice HD tvs in the concourse. Got to the bike valet, took 2 minutes tops to get my bike back, and headed off for a 1 hour bike ride home to NK. All in all I had no complaints.

On one play during the exhibition game, where Kurt Adams dropped a ball after he got a step behind his defender, Jade had about two steps on his defender, and there was zero safety help. If either Kurt caught that ball, or the pass was thrown to Jade and he hauled it in, it was a sure TD. Sure they were playing against some lower rung Argo defenders, but I watched Jade the whole play and he beat his man like a red-headed step child.

It is still a preseason game. For years the bombers gave this game away for free with the buddy voucher. Another factor may be that people don't want to go through the predicable first game problems of traffic/parking/lineups/ etc. They'l wait for the next game for the issues to be smoothed over.

My understanding was that they sold out quickly, and there is a waiting list.
I recall hearing this as well.

Not sure if we're thinking of the same thing but they definitely have the system in place for selecting individual seats off a seat map
You are correct sir! The last time I looked (maybe it was a link from the official bomber site?) It was just a plain stadium map. Now when I went directly from ticketmaster's website I can see it.
-
I wish the ticketmaster website had the select a seat feature for the new stadium. I would hope that is something they are working on.

I figure that our stadium is similar to theirs, so we might be able to get a seismic reading on a smaller scale

Palardy out early kicking field goals

So I am here a bit early as part of a fund raising bike ride. Anyone else here?

Love the mobile version. Very smooth and easy to use. One nice thing to possibly add to it would be those forums links at the end of the page. Having to go back to the top gets a bit old after a few threads.

Good stuff...gonna be loud all year long!
I was at the stadium for the first time yesterday, and I was just shocked at what that roof does to the noise.
A car driving by with a loud exhaust was magnified significantly by the echo created. When the D would make a big play during practice, and the 30-40 of them would start hooting and hollering, you could really hear it. Even when the QBs or long snappers were yelling out their cadences on the far end of the field, I could hear it clear as day.
Pack that place with 33,000 rabid, frothing at the mouth bomber fans and we might just send that tin into orbit.
Anyone know if there is any seismographs on campus? Would be neat to see the tape of a game.

Was talking to a coworker this morning who went to camp yesterday ...
He said Etienne made an absolutely unbelievable catch in tight coverage ... got up and pulled the Geroy pose. Apparently the entire team went nuts for it.
I got there for a bit yesterday, missed the one on ones, but during one of the skellys, they had Jade line up as a full back/running back type blocking position. One of the defenders absolutely pancaked him, sent him right ass over tea-kettle.
I talked with him a bit once practice wrapped up, he was a bit red-faced by that, but said that if is was a game situation, he just would have cut the defender low, which they obviously don't do in camp. As we were chatting, one of the coaches walks up to him and heaps a bunch of praise on him for his catches in the one on one drills, saying that they really want to see more of that from him, and they are sure he can deliver.
Here is hoping this is his breakout year.

Guess Loki was pooping big green fuzz balls for awhile. Tell me, how'd you get the green stains from the carpets?
He poops outside, so the carpet was saved from the green wraith of his butt.

TSN cuts back pre-season broadcasts to 2 games -- both involving EDM. Great service to Edm fans. It might be best 2 Esks outings this season
At least everyone can see how well Reilly does.

I love this show, **** gets done!

Just wondering if you are going to leave the post count showing? I prefer not having it out there, but other people may have a different opinion on it.
Also, if possible, could my title be "Warming up on the bike"?

How does that relate to the Lumsden scale?
