Report: Blue Jackets' Patrik Laine benched because he ‘verbally disrespected’ a coach (msn.com) It's pretty clear that he was coddled in Winnipeg, Wheeler said as much. Now that he is being treated like a man and expected to play like a man and act like a man, instead of a coddled little boy, he's showing his true colors. Why are guys with so much talent almost always the guys who waste it thanks to a crappy attitude? So frustrating to watch.

Blake Wheeler made PLD's last shift in Columbus look herculean in comparison to the effort he put in last night, almost all night. That first goal by Boeser he was just cruising back leaving Boeser alone in front. It was like watching beer league. It was embarrassing.

I was fantasizing about Dubois being out there last night with Schief's line being essentially neutralized, and how a line of him, Copp and Ehlers would have just owned the Oilers second line all night, it would have been a much different game for sure. If they can get Dubois back sooner (and safely of course) then I am all for it.

Per the interview I watched he seemed to indicate that he was under the 14 day restriction, and so he arrived Saturday night in Winnipeg. From there I guess we do the math. Feb 7th he would be able to practice with the team.
