  1. That's true, but we have won exactly the same amount of Grey Cups the past 20 years and we have won the only Grey Cup meeting between the Bombers and the Riders. That Fantuz TD over the middle was a thing of beauty.
  2. That post says more about you than anything.
  3. Hilarious that you mock the Riders for signing Micah Johnson and then on the next page you opine for the signing of Almondo Sewell. Keep the comedy coming... Wilson isn't the same player after his injury in 2022, but Bighill is a fraction of his old self. Here hoping you trot him out again this season. Not even sure who your 3rd LB is. And regarding your Dline, the only player of relevence left on the Bombers Dline is Jefferson. Seriously who else is there? As far as the Riders, it looks like they are going with either/both Christian Albright or Brian Cox Jr on the other side of Malik Carney. Both looked very capable last year on a very poorly coached football. team.
  4. I read on here many times over the past month or so that losing Oliveira wasn't a big deal because he could easily be replaced by an American,. What has changed? And yes I agree about the North end argument. The north end of Regina does resemble Winnipeg quite a bit. Drove through there a few months ago, driving into Winnipeg from the west on the TransCanada was like driving into Beirut.
  5. Hardrick's contract is alot but he not only makes the Riders Oline better, it makes the Bombers oline that much worse. Wasn't he the Most outstanding Olineman in the west last year?
  6. Some from Winnipeg saying that about Regina is like someone from Saskatchewan making fun of Winnipeg because of its cold winter
  7. Yet all you guys do is talk about them. Bombers to their credit have had a great few years at the top, watching them crumble to Fajardo and the Alouettes in the Grey Cup spoke volumes in my opinion. Stanley is a couple years short of 40 and he actually started looking human last year. Your Dline is a punchline right now. LB's are nothing to write honme about. 3 receivers making over $700K is utterly ridiculous and the holes that will create on the rest of the roster already shows, especially on defence. You can't deny that the Bombers defence right now is a skeleton of what it used to be. Is Bighill even coming back, because word is Ouellette is inquiring.
  8. This is quite literally one of the most ridiculous posts I have read in years. Everyone you say signs with the Riders, they will not get their bang for their buck. This coming from a fan of a team that is spending $1.34 million dollars on 4 players on offence lol. And getting Ouellette for $70K less than Oliveira is a pretty good deal for the Riders.
  9. That's a ridiculous notion. Oliveira is the most dominant RB this league has seen since Mike Pringle, and he is still young to boot. Bombers would have won the GreyCup if they kept feeding him the ball. Can the Bombers afford to keep Schoen and Lawler? I believe Lawler is due to make almost $300K this season. With what Schoen will demand, that could be 3 players on offence making well over a million dollars in total (Schoen $250Kish, Collaros $600K, and Lawler $300K)
  10. Wheeler has been my nickname since I was in grade school. Not sure what DJ you are referring to but your post says more about you than anything.
  11. Did Collaros tell Brown not to sign in Sask? Or is that another assumption?
  12. Nope, the 1991 thing is no longer an argument, both the Bombers and the Riders have both won 2 GreyCups the past 20 years, both franchises are the backbone of the CFL.
  13. Mean's nothing now, there is only one winner in 2023. Will be interesting to see how the Bombers build their roster for next season with guys like Schoen, Nichols, Hardrick, Cole, and Oliveira, etc due big raises. God forbid there is a different point of view on a discussion forum.
  14. That I completely agree on. In my opinion the hiring of Mace is a very good first step by ODay in getting the ship back on the water. The praise from players and media alike speaks for itself. Quite enjoyed his presser today.
  15. Oliveira is a game changer, IMO the most dominant RB this league has seen since Mike Pringle. Every team in the league will be interested, which will do nothing but drive up the price. If you honestly think that a guy like Kenny Lawler will be making 6 figures more than Oliveira, well then I guess there is no use discussing this. That said, isn't Lawler supposed to be getting even more coin this upcoming season?
  16. You are right, you do have a QB. I wonder is he is trending downwards though, his performance in the playoffs was not good.
  17. Harris is making $100K less than Collaros and I wouldn't be surprised if his contract will be restructured. If the Riders can't afford Dru, then you can be damn sure the Bombers can't either.
  18. There is no ceiling for a dominant Canadian RB in his mid twenties.
  19. Pure comedy, the only negative reaction to the Mace hire is by Bombers fans. And Harris is only 2 years older than Collaros and has less of a history of injuries, those are facts. That right there is Bombers' fans delusion. The scars must still be fresh
  20. Would not be surprised at all if Oliveira makes an NFL training camp roster, and if he doesn't, his ask is gonna be huge.
  21. Now that right there is the definition of spin, impressive reach lol. Even Dunk said he only assumed it was going to be leaning towards Buck because he was in Regina the longest. Haven't seen one negative word about the hiring of Mace, pretty difficult to put a negative spin on this but I gotta admire your attempt, even though logic states if fell flat.
  22. Not enough is being said that the Bombers are a 100% fully healthy team on offence and defence going up against a team with their 3rd string QB and 9 starters out. IMO all the pressure is on the Bombers in this game, still can't believe they lost to another 3rd stringer last week. Should be fun.
