  1. good point. tho i listen to ppl like bill burr, who is v popular. all he does is yak about his day and ppl eat it up. i think in this time of salesmanship and overstimulation, ppl are craving just some normal chatter. ?
  2. my podcast will be just a regular joe talking about the Bombers. i will bring in x's and o's guys to supplement. but i love the pregame on cjob for what it is--awesome dudes talking about our awesome team. let's go!!!!!
  3. fair but Bauming, at least back then, was a TSN employee.
  4. I base it solely on listening to the post-game CFL radio Grey Cup podcast. It's available through the apple podcast app, if you search BC Lions. It's a fantastic podcast by itself, but there's a brief bit where the host, i think it's Dave Jameison, subtly criticizes the WBB for being petty re Darrin Bauming. Have a listen.
  5. Gotcha. The Blue certainly ostracized him for Grey Cup based on him not voting 33 for team and league awards. That’s why Rick Ralph was the sideline reporter for the radio broadcast.
  6. What makes you say that? Just curious.
  7. I wonder if Couture is being replaced by Eli because of the two costly holding calls in the LDC. One made us go two and out late in the third quarter deep in our own end after Harris gained half the first down yardage. Maybe he can't handle the Sask front 7? wow thanks for the analysis. makes total sense. I wonder Toronto just run blitzed us all game to take Oliveira out of it. Made us one dimensional.
  8. Totally agree about Brown. I also enjoy the pre-game on CJOB immensely, as well as Bauming's stuff as Walby is a legend and I appreciate that Bauming is bringing more attention to the Bombers. I do really miss a weekly fan podcast though. We need more voices talking about the Bombers. Especially now that they are the class of the CFL! Wbbfan you can cohost and do some analysis!
  9. Hi all, I’ve noticed that there’s a vacuum in the podcast world—we don’t have a Blue Bombers podcast! Blue Bomber Talk is no longer as the Hodges have moved on. I’m interested in being part of a podcast. I’ve never done it but would love to get into it. Is anyone else interested? I have also posted this on the other forum. Here are some ideas but I think there could be way more 1. have an X’s and O’s Section where a local fan or coach with football knowledge would break down the latest bomber game and look ahead to the next one 2. interview local heroes like Carol Barrott or super fans like Reaper, Bomber Woman, Golden Boy etc 3. Talk about best and worst Bombers memories 4. Potentially get players or coaches on 5. Betting suggestions

  11. Well said. Honestly gents there is a bombers podcast vacuum right now with the Hodges moving on. We should do one. Could talk X’s and O’s With our resident expert wbbfan and have some video with it. Would be fun! Can you explain what you mean by defensive shifts? And 11 personnel. Also where did you learn so much about football?!
  12. good points, for sure--and i definitely prefer Zach's arm and ability/willingness to throw under pressure and into coverage. still, i find we could do more with the run game.
  13. this is awesome info, thanks. i've always been interested in x's and o's but never played. loved your analysis of our offensive. to my untrained eye, buck's offence looks very vanilla, slow, predictable... whereas Lapo seemed to have much more pre-snap movement and ways to get AH in space. what do you think is going on with Buck? do you think our offence will improve?
  14. Not so sure I agree. Hall was playing that d to give Maier the short stuff. Cgy only scored 16 pts. You should win every game in the cfl if your opposition scores under 20. If our receivers don’t drop three balls we would won by two scores.
  15. Waved by LA Rams. We need him ASAP!!!
  16. Yup. You nailed it. Stove fired up the run d. We forget how important those interior guys are.
  17. Love the humour!!! Hopefully Miller is cool and refreshing, with no hangover effects!
  18. Anyone know anything about Miller?
  19. Waited in line too long but figured that was bc of the pregame deals. Not too bad afterward and bathrooms easy after game started. They did a tremendous job with parking and crowd control upon entry and exit. Fun time.
  20. Interesting comparison. Love the football history here.
  21. I totally agree with you. And i think in order for the Bucs to win they have to do EVERYTHING perfectly (pass rush, score at will, no turnovers, special teams, limit chunk plays from Mahomes)--as opposed to the Chiefs who are so dominant that even if Mahomes throws a pick 6 or they have 2 turnovers, the can still win. All it takes is a couple of possessions on their part where things click and game over.
  22. Rodgers? Yeah. He’s generally seen as Uber talented but prickly and a diva
  23. according to Glazer he didn't come back bc spotters/trainers thought it was a concussion at the time as he appeared to knock his head and was very wobbly. he was apparently vociferously arguing to get back in. as for the vein i think it's the jugular. so i think spotters/trainers were maybe overreacting to how he presented immediately after the hit; i suspect if they had known he had basically been choked out and not concussed, they would've let him back in. caveat: i'm not a doctor so maybe when you get choked out you appear to have symptoms more similar to concussion...
  24. i actually heard from Jay Glazer that he did not in fact have a concussion at all and that the player basically choked him out by accident...
  25. Not loving the play calling for him tho. Rams have crazy d line and it’s his first time in nfl. Give him easy throws and utilize his legs.
