I get the QB rating, but wasn't sure how that looked in UFL and wasn't sure what you meant by "clowning on Maier" but I guess that just means mocking or saying he's not very good for that rating. But the rest I didn't know, that a lot of qb's in UFL really aren't very good. I guess the take home point is that MVP or best qb of UFL doesn't translate to being a star in CFL. So again, thanks for the information and the observation to inform on the topic.

Agreed - just that the pass where he hopped up indecisively and wet noodled it to the receiver's feet was a very pathetic pass attempt. But he has shown some strength earlier. That was just the most lame play I've seen all pre-season.

Frederickson has had some plays, but only so much room on O. As for the D - yeah, not looking great. Major Williams has made his case to stay - that special teams tackle alone should keep him around.

I thought that was what that was, but didn't really believe that was what was meant, after a single, preseason game looking at two brand new qb's without starting receivers and other depth players fighting for roster spots. Wow - Doug Brown not holding back on Wilson leaving the team prior to the first PS game. Assuming you mean DT - he does do his best and made a number of corrections when needed. I like that. I didn't hear the hillbilly SSK colour guy after the first couple series as I was able to time the CJOB and video feed acceptably well.

I agree - it wasn't bad at all. Good to see our new backup qb's - I'm optimistic for this season.
