I still kind of hate that Bogosian ended up going with him, he didn't do anything wrong. but it was part of the deal.

so the NHL season ended yesterday (and hopefully the NBA season will be finished tonight, as much as I would love to see Lebron win the championship with the cavs, if the warriors win then maybe TSN will show this fridays bomber game)
and there is no denying that the jets had the best season they had since relocating from Atlanta. but what would we remember most from this season?
the rise of Hutchinson? the Boulton curse being lifted? Perreault's 4 goal game? How Pavelec got his groove back? the track suit incident that got Kane sent to the Sabres?
Teemu's retirement ceremony?
The anthem that the fans did after what happened in Ottawa?
hopefully next season will be more memorable or just as memorable as this season, maybe the jets will get farther in the playoffs, and we won't have to face the ducks, I'd rather the jets face the coyotes in the next playoffs, if they find a place to play. (man i wish the NHL would put out logo emoji's then I could put the jets logo here

now to wait for the NBA season to finish (I wonder if the Warriors win game 6 tsn will show the other Bomber pre-season game)
great job winning the cup at home guys
Next season, some other team will win the cup that isn't the BH's or the Kings.

Gonna say it. Hockey pre-season sucks.
what really sucks, is that we have to wait two months for the regular season schedule to be released (hey that reminds me how come the Moose preseason schedule hasn't been released?)

oh dear, but I think the Bomber game starts at 6 right? we would have an hour of football and then the jets. I think the bombers will be playing on TSN 2, though if we're lucky the jets game will be on Sportsnet

Who, Chase De Leo? He's a skilled player who will be seasoning with the Moose for a couple of years.
One thing Ive noticed is, we have several small forwards coming up. The Jets mantra seemed to be size and speed. Ehlers, Petan, De Leo...others? Interesting, there was a recent article about size not being as big a concern in the NHL now.

at this rate, I don't really care if the coyotes end up in Quebec City, they should go to a place where people will appreciate them, and that the right people get involved. They are good players, but I wish I could say the same for soap opera that is ongoing, at this rate it could last longer than Guiding Light (and it only lasted for what seventy something years?)

why vegas anyways? the season ticket drive isn't really doing anything, they have sold less the amount of season tickets that the jets have and those season tickets were sold out in less than a week
Vegas is actually a city I think will be successful for the NHL. Its a big city with tons of tourism, And it has no pro sports. Now one could say the other sports leagues have avoided Vegas due to the gambling connection. But I think the NHL is smart to go in there.
So the occasional boxing match doesn't count?

I mean I watched the citizens pleading to keep the team here, most of it was just sad (one person didn't even talk about the coyotes at all, she was just in a huff about all those smoking places)
I didn't exactly hear any players screaming that they wanted out though.
This kind of makes me wonder if the team had been kept here all these years due to illegal funding
