Jacquie Posted December 21, 2014 Report Share Posted December 21, 2014 The Winnipeg Jets are pleased to announce they will be hosting a Broadcast Viewing Party of the Teemu Selanne Tribute Night on Sunday, Jan. 11. The Teemu Selanne Tribute Night is taking place at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California, when the Anaheim Ducks wilL retire Teemu Selanne's #8 jersey in a pre-game ceremony prior the game versus the Winnipeg Jets. The Jets' Broadcast Viewing Party of TSN3's coverage of the night will be held at MTS Centre, with both the ceremony and game shown on the MTS Centre centre-hung scoreclock. As part of the ceremony, it is planned that footage from the Viewing Party from Winnipeg will be shown at the Honda Center in Anaheim. Tickets for the event are $5.00 per person and available exclusively at winnipegjets.com, with proceeds to the Winnipeg Jets True North Foundation. Doors to the event will open at 6:30 CST, with the ceremony starting at 7:00 pm CST and puck drop at 8:00 pm CST. MTS Centre has hosted other broadcast viewing parties, including the 2011 NHL Entry Draft and the 2010 Men's Olympic Hockey Final in Vancouver.
