I'm not sure why Dale Hunter didn't challenge the first goal .   Officiating is a little strange... Couple missed offsides already. All that being said Canada looks completely brutal right now.  

Lafreniere is injured and seconds later Russia scores.  There's still lots of time as this is junior hockey...but man... This teams psyche is rattled .

Hunter is a terrible coach.  Trying to line match in a best on best tournament.  Goes with a goalie with no pedigree as the #1.  Can't do that in these quick tournaments, roll with the guys with international tournament experience.

6-0 Russia.  This is friggen terrible.  The Germans might be able to upset the Canadians at this rate.  Pro tip:. Don't let players waltz uncontested into your defensive zone.

They should fire Hunter now so they can get organized for the Medal Round against a couple speed bumps in Germany and the Czech's.

Without Lafreniere, it might be over for this team...
