  1. which receivers are playing for Montreal?

Anone know what happened to Duron Carter? He wasn't in their last game that I could see.

It'll be interesting to see what their receivers can do.

Hope our team can protect our Q.B. against late hits by Montreal. they've been known to do that now and again.

  2.  Looking at the media, I doubt any of them have played any serious sports;

    Some of them have played.

Doug Brown, Troy, I think Mitch played NFL and CFL football. Now you have to include Walby.

These guys are all members of the Winnipeg media. I think they're all entertaining, and have interesting informed  viewpoints.

I know nothing about the hockey writers and broadcasters.

I don't care if you never played the game, and I don't mind negativity if it is intelligent and insightful, but at the very least, the person being paid to report on the game should be a fan of the game, like us, and possess basic knowledge of the rules, actually - more than basic knowledge truth be told.

    This sums it up well.

  3. Elfrid Payton, son of Bomber linebacker

    NBA Comparison: Devin Harris/Rajon Rondo

"Within the past few weeks, Louisiana-Lafayette point guard Elfrid Payton has emerged from projections as a late first-round pick to becoming a possible lottery selection in this upcoming Thursday's NBA Draft.

The Los Angeles Lakers, who hold the seventh overall pick in the first round, were so impressed with Payton after an initial workout that they brought him in for a second look last week.

With his draft stock skyrocketing, Payton, who played at John Ehret High School and is a Gretna native, is among the 21 top prospects who have been invited to Barclays Center in Brooklyn to sit in the green room for the NBA draft.

  4. To me it looked like willy under threw the receivers on longer passes.

and moore got killed making a strong effort  for what appeared to be an off target willy pass.

Willy seemed to have more time than max hall, I don't know if that's cause of the way Hall plays, or something else.

Best passer yesterday seemed to be  Marve, I thought. at least for accuracy and velocity.

  5. If you are a fan of the stones, sting, and Phil Spectre's sixties music, you will enjoy "twenty feet from stardom"

which is a documentary about the singers that backed up the stars in those days.

like Merry Clayton, who sang the female vocal part in gimme shelter.

also, George Gently, British crime tv series is really good.

is there anywhere where a listing of all available netflix shows is published?

for those that like science fiction

"prometheus", prequel to Alien, (director ridley scott, ) is outstanding.

  6.  One of the all time greatest Blue Bomber and CFL players, with a lot of experience in radio and tv,  he's always energetic and entertaining, it makes perfect sense to have him as part of the bomber game show.

I like Troy as a radio host. Seems to put a fair amount of preparation into the job, and seems to have some basis for his opinions.

1290 is basically hockey all day every day, which gets very boring. Maybe they intend to do something about fixing that.

Westwood and Walby … could be really good.

  7. That's because all the serious Bomber posters are here now. And with a mod like Shankman doing his thing over there people won't go back.

    "serious bomber posters" ?

That's actually pretty funny.   The posters that offered more than just unfounded opinions left ourbombers a few years ago.
