Would there be any improvement if we had the head referee review the call instead of the CC? Allows them to use the same standard they have already been applying and maybe even adds the element of the referee wanting to correct their own mistakes? -

I honestly think watching a replay where it seems obvious to everyone else only to have the CC screw it up is worse for the game than just accepting bad calls in real time.
