Truth. The number of bizarro-world things that happen with this league? It's a wonder that it somehow manages. Like, how many other pro sports leagues have made a regular habit of drafting room-temperature players in their annual entry draft? It can be stupid. Especially in this town. The hated former-owner of the Leafs also owned the TiCats and used to promote TiCat tickets on the scoreboard at Leafs games! The annual challenge cup between the Argos and ******* is still named after that man (may he rot). Embrace the wackiness. EDIT: ******* is a synonym for "Cats" and ought not be censored.

Literally emailed and called anyone in the organization that I could think of over the cannons. They even added logos with cannons on them to our merch. Makes no sense. We're the most historic sports franchise in North America with 148 years of history to draw on. Boats, rowing, rugby, football, Jason and the Argonauts, ancient greek soldiers in battle array, the Golden Fleece, the messenger god Hermes... any of that makes sense. But cannons?!
