The following additional public health order restrictions will be in effect on Sunday, May 9 at 12:01 a.m. for a period of three weeks: • outdoor gatherings that include people from multiple households are limited to a maximum of five people; • restaurants, bars and patios will close to in-person dining but can still provide take-out and delivery services; • gyms and fitness centres will close; • casinos remain closed and VLTs will close; • museums, galleries and libraries will close; • indoor community, cultural and religious gatherings are prohibited; • personal services such as estheticians, barbers, salons and tanning salons will close; • indoor sports and recreation, including after-school activities, will close; • outdoor sports and recreation activities will have a maximum of five participants and organized team games will not be permitted; • dance, theatre and music schools will close; • day camps will close; • retail stores, markets and garden centres will be able to open at 10 per cent capacity, to a maximum of 100 people, and malls will be open to a maximum of 10 per cent of the facility’s capacity; and • self-help gatherings will have a maximum of 10 participants.

Lockdown will come way to late, indoor dining should stop for the rest of the month and schools should go online for the rest of the year, and any restaurant, pub, lounge who disregard the restrictions on their patios should have their permits pulled for the rest of the year if they are even aloud to stay open during a lockdown

There is a lot we could of done but the powers to be decided not to so now we will have a full on third wave as the government twiddles their thumbs trying to get people vaccinated and implementing new restrictions that should of been done a month ago

All we can do is encourage people to get vaccinated, once we get up around 50-60% vaccinated cases should start to dropped pretty quickly. It seems that younger people are now driving the case counts and the sooner we drop the requirements the better.

Keep an eye out for the next 2 weeks, we should hit over 50% vaccinated, still way to slow but we should see a downward trend by then, more vaccines coming and a second super site should be open by then end of the week hopefully will help

People haven't been adhering to the restrictions the last few months and they wont follow these ones either, as this point people getting vaccinated is the only way that will get us back to a new normal what ever that will be.
