Only 27,000 in Calgary tonight. Think BC only had 23,000 on Friday.

Keep in mind it is a Monday game for Calgary and it stormed like hell in parts of Calgary all afternoon and there was a chance of it storming again in the evening (even though it turned out nice) so it's not surprising there was a smaller turnout.

Also --- it was the first day right after the calgary stampede ended. Historically there are two types of people in calgary. Those who stay in town for stampede and those who say screw this and plan vacations around stampede. It starts about a week before stampede and goes for a good week or two after --- lots of people pack up the rv's and leave town.

Monday night game in calgary is also a no brainer for lack of attendance. We did have crappy weather that can turn in a dime --- I work not far from Mcmahon and we had nasty rain all afternoon then cleared up around 4pm.

Either way --- traffic has been light all week telling you a ton of people simply are out of town.

Toronto has attendance? LOL. They haven't had fans attending games since ... oh... 2007

In 2012 the averaged over 23000.

  2. Interesting.  When I went into the Bomber store to pickup my season tickets, I chatted with the lady manning the jersey customization desk.  I remarked about how the number of royal blues in the finished rack were outnumbering BOTH the home and away regular jerseys.  She confimed that the Bombers weren't planning on a jersey change for 2015, but that the fans' preference of the royal blues has been noted within the organization.

Then she said something really interesting about timing... given that the royal blues were our colours from our glory years, the organization wouldn't want to make a switch until the team was on its way to restoring itself as a contender.  I get that they have the power to make the change whenever they WANT to, but it made sense to me that they'd want to combine the momentum of a really good year with the momentum of a switch to the royal blues.

Food for thought... I thought it was really interesting to hear.

We are so on and off.  I wish we would stay good.

  3. Feoli-Gudino was doing great until he got stripped.  People seem to be haitin' on him though.  I don't see it.  He has been doing great at TC.

    Sherman was no Leggett.

Darvin Adams was crazy.  Fast and Great catches.

    Almost all special teams.

Cotton looks fast. He'll do better that Grigsby.

All the benefits stuff is collectively bargained. It's his fault/his agents fault for not knowing what benefits he has, had and doesn't or didn't have. I'm also not sure how the CFL suppressed his right to research the effects of concussions. Blocked Google? You can't sue somebody based on your own ignorance.

The only relevant piece of this action is the stuff about independent medical staff.

Good old JBR, our resident expert on... Everything, it would seem!

Are you an expert on blocking google?

Ya, you gonna send me to Shawshank?

    :) Finally someone gets it.
