For the purpose of this discussion lets TRY to ignore conspiracy theories why the Bombers can't or won't trade. Lets just look at the world of trading in the CFL. It's my recollection that there are precious few trades made in the CFL. For instance, how many trades have been made in 2013? 2012? 2011? Being an eight team (soon to be 9) league with limits on rosters with regards to cap space and ratio, teams wait for the player to be released. As soon as the player is released from their contract with a team. Team B can the negotiate a new contract that fits cap-wise and more importantly...do not have to give up any assets.
