  1. LOL. Funny thing is you likely actually believe that.
  2. All receiving are inconsistent when they are very young. Ajou got an NFL contract for a reason and DDB has all the potential in the world. Wiebe will be interesting as well, hope he's not too small.
  3. No I am not overly concerned about our losses yesterday as our personal department is very good at identifying talent. Heck we have already gotten rid of 2 of our biggest weaknesses last year, Lauther and Alford. This time last year nobody knew who Tom Nield, Joe Robistelli, and Baldonado were. Heck many were laughing when we re-signed Carney last offseason.
  4. Did you just say to compare their physiques? Seriously? lol I never said Vaughters was as good as Carney, I said Vaughters could be a good rotational player in Mace's system. I believe they worked together in Calgary so Mace is familiar with them. How exactly is the Riders receiving corp a shell of what is was? We lost 2 depth receivers to other teams and one starter to the NFL. Meyers will be back by LDC like Ajou last year, you and I both know that. Very few heard of Nield or Robistelli at this time last year.
  5. I highly doubt the Riders are done signing Dlineman. Hervey gave Carney a ridiculous amount of money, can't blame him for moving on. I just find it odd that you say Vaughters is in decline when he had more than twice the amount of sacks than any other Bomber last year. Will be interesting to see how he does in the Riders system as many wrote off Carney after the 2024 season.
  6. Hopefully he is healed up
  7. Not saying Vaughters in the caliber of Carney, just that he would be a good rotational player. Looks like he had twice as many sacks last season than any other Bomber.
  8. 1 sack in 11 games? ok then
  9. Don't forget Ajou and DuncanBusby

  12. We lost some good depth players for sure, but we have solid depth behind that as well. Nield is a good player but we already have Ajou, DuncanBusby, and Weibe as backup Canadian receivers. When we signed Emilus and KSB, it was impossible to bring back Nield, not surprised the Bombers picked up another ex-Riders receiver. Meyers will be back by LDC if not sooner. My only concern is losing Carney, but it looks like Vaughters could be a good rotational player and he has a history with Mace. Allen is good but we also have 3 good prospects to replace him in Hundeby, Wiebe, and Straker. Nobody knew who Allen was at this time last year. I bet you don't wanna know how many sacks Ceresna had last season. Vaughters also spent alot of time in the NFL so comparing their CFL sack totals is silly.
  13. Vaughters is a year older than the Bombers prized signing yesterday, Ceresna.
  14. Coping? Every player we lost other than Reavis, Allen, and Carney are backups. I get the elation of the Bombers and other teams excited about getting our backups, I guess that speaks to the current state of each team.
  15. Happens to every team after a championship. Other than Carney and AJ Allen I don't really see these as "losses" as the majority of players that signed elsewhere are backups (Robistelli, Nield, Boldonado, Meier) and wouldn't have cracked our starting lineup Whats the scoop on Vaughters?
  16. Has this years Grey Cup sold out yet?
