Which is why I prefer to post from no tricks zone.

notricks is nothing but tricks though. if these are your sources for information on climate crisis, then yeah I understand your skepticism- that is exactly what those sites are supposed to do and are funded to do. You've been had, man- sorry to say. I totally understand where you are coming from now.

Just because these sites post the studies, doesn't mean the study is wrong, unless you can find fault in their research, the results of their studies need to be taken as seriously as all others.

A few members addressed this a few weeks ago. Notricks is a bad site to get informed about climate crisis.

A temperature of 45.1C has been recorded in France, the hottest in the country’s history.

Measured in Villevieille, a commune in the southern region of Occitanie, the spike in temperature came as the country declared a “red alert” weather warning for the first time ever as a punishing heatwave swept across Europe.

Elsewhere in the country volunteers scoured the streets of Paris to provide water to homeless people in a bid to avoid civilian deaths, old cars were banned from the roads in four major cities due to pollution, and some 4,000 schools were closed.

They don't have air conditioning in most places in Europe. They didn't need it.  Cause this has not happened before.

twnety  thousand people died last time there was a major heatwave there.

No one insults you for having a differing opinion, so please stop with that.

He can have his own opinion, but not his own facts.

The facts are in. With 100 percent certainty. And they definitely do not coincide in any way with his "opinion"

As somebody else said this thread is much more worthwhile when he stays away from it.

In this photo taken on Thursday, June 13, 2019 sled dogs make their way in northwest Greenland with their paws in melted ice water.

The same photo was taken in June 1984, but whatever right?

Good catch- I wonder if there has been any explanation for that.  Looking forward to a notrickszone spin on that.

Follow the AMO if you want to know what the ice in the Arctic is doing

http://www.woodfortrees.org/plot/esrl-amo/mean:120

At least try to find some data to back up your wild claims please.

At a cursory glance- the website is not credible and the graph... I don't even know what t hat graph is suppose to show. I did notice the "charity tip jar" link at the bottom of that chart.

Also, what "wild claim" are you demanding data for?

Meanwhile the glaciers in Austria have recovered quite nicely, how is that even possible?

and the data to back it up.

C'mon man- that is a **** site that purposely misleads and cherry picks data and presents data in a dishonest and distorted manner. It's been discredited and debunked many times in this thread alone. How do you expect us to take your arguments and points seriously when you keep trotting out the same shitty support of your "facts".

I would love it if you were right and that all this is "alarmist" stuff. I want to be able to have a good honest discussion with you about Climate Crisis, but we can't have that dialogue if you keep using dodgy sources and thoroughly discredited propaganda websites as support for your view point.

How are the glaciers in your backyard fairing?  Have you ever even visited them?

lol, only someone completely dense would think it's the same picture used in both, it's obviously not, but the conditions were the same in 1984 for those of you who aren't smart enough to figure that out.

Back what up? you linked to the an information page of Austria's national weather service.

Which is were you can find the data on the glaciers.

I know most you don't actually look at the data, you just swallow whatever CNN or CBC are telling you but why show a little initiative and actually look if the data even supports the claim being made.

If you don't understand the graph why even comment? Like the article says, sea ice follows the AMO, the graph is the AMO cycle and how ice grows and shrinks with it, geez, at least try pretend you're even remotely interested if you're going to reply.

Well even NASA isn't sure anymore

https://www.nationalgeographic.com/environment/2019/03/one-part-of-greenland-ice-growing/

NASA's Oceans Melting Greenland (OMG) project has revealed Greenland’s Jakobshavn Glacier, the island’s biggest, is actually growing, at least at its edge. In research published Monday in Nature Geoscience, researchers report that since 2016, Jakobshavn’s ice has thickened slightly, thanks to relatively cool ocean waters at its base—which have caused the glacier to slow down its melt. This reverses the glacier’s 20-year trend of thinning and retreating.

“The thinking was once glaciers start retreating, nothing's stopping them,” explains Josh Willis, an oceanographer at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory and OMG’s lead scientist. “We've found that that's not true.”

Other Arctic glaciers may be undergoing similar growth. That suggests the ebb and flow of glaciers in a warming world may be more complicated and harder to predict than previously thought, says Willis.

but I'm sure you know more than NASA, or maybe Nat Geo is just a **** site or something?

First off- no need to start with the name calling.

I like to post new studies on the subject not just insult people for having a differing opinion.

Secondly, that is faulty logic- you are saying that the conditions were the same in both photos to discount the "alarmist", someone points out the absence of snow from the recent pic that was found in the 1984 pic (underscoring the argument of climate crisis) and you just insult him. That is not a good way to foster a constructive discussion and it paints you as a (which you are not, it just makes you look like one).
