UFC fighter Jorge Masvidal has been arrested after allegedly assaulting rival Colby Covington and breaking one of his teeth outside a Miami Beach restaurant, authorities say. https://nbcnews.to/3DfVYf9

Not really "allegedly" since Masvidal decided to post a self-incriminating video on social media bragging about it shortly after the incident.  He's a Trump supporter so he's clearly not the brightest guy out there and made it pretty easy for the cops.

Chandler just kicked Ferguson into next year, that is the knockout of the year

Shocked he got up and was able (or even allowed) to stand while Chandler got his hand raised..  He was down for quite a while.

That's a ending that makes you rethink about what you do for a living, even when he got up he was still out of it

I'm sure it's 100% coincidence that 2.1 million WWE shares were sold mere hours before the WSJ story came out (that's  only 1.5 million more than an average day for their stock).   🤔

Former UFC Fighter Phil Baroni Arrested For Allegedly Killing Girlfriend

Baroni reportedly told police his girlfriend repeatedly hit her head when he forced her into the shower after she admitted to cheating on him.
Former UFC fighter Phil Baroni has been arrested in Mexico and charged with murder after his girlfriend, who has been identified by authorities only as Paola, was found dead on New Year’s Day, according to The Associated Press.

While the AP said the official police report offered sparse details, local newspaper Tribuna de la Bahía reports that Baroni, 46, flagged down officers in the town of San Francisco — also known as San Pancho — and told them his girlfriend was unconscious in their hotel room.

Paola was found bruised and unresponsive in bed covered by a sheet, according to Tribuna. The outlet reports that Baroni told police the two had begun arguing around 3 p.m. after he had been smoking marijuana and drinking beer and Paola revealed having cheated on him.

This isn't anything new,  look at how many boxers have gone insane from CTE mixed with drug and booze addictions.

Same as football players or anyone who repeatedly takes blows to the head really.

Not everyone shows signs though and even fewer go completely off the deep end like this.  Now that more and more athletes are donating their brains to science when they pass, it'll be interesting to see what (if anything) the research shows in that regard.
