Because he broke the rules MBT broke the rules, but he broke them with the Argos' full consent. The Argos sent him to a Raptors game to basically tell Raptors fans that Toronto has a football team, and hey, they are playing in a pretty important game on Sunday so maybe instead of buying that 4th $150 Raptors jersey or paying $75 for popcorn and a beer you might want to slap down $20 for a playoff ticket for our game. I realize that this was in contravention of COVID policy and not very well thought out, but I also get that the Argos do zero marketing of their team and have almost no fans. It's a tough one.
