Covid-19

What a headache for retailers, given next to no notice. Something had to be done of course... but jeez, as if things aren't hard enough cleaning shelves and tills behind customers, guarding entrances to enforce sanitation, mask use and occupancy...

I tried out instacart the other day, rather than going to Costco myself. It's a bit pricey but at this point I'll gladly pay $30 to have someone else spend 2 hours at Costco on my behalf.

Rudy Giuliani’s Son Tests Positive for COVID Day After Attending Dad’s Bonkers ‘Fraud’ Briefing

In a Friday morning tweet, Rudy Giuliani’s son Andrew said he had tested positive for COVID-19, and was experiencing mild symptoms. According to The New York Times, Andrew was at his dad’s bizarre press ‘election fraud’ conference on Thursday which featured lots of sweat and not many face masks. Rudy sweated so profusely during the cramped, indoor event that brown streaks, possibly hair dye, ran down his face. Andrew, who works in the White House Office of Public Liaison, said he was “following all appropriate protocols, including being in quarantine and conducting contact tracing.” According to CDC advice, 76-year-old Rudy, who is at higher risk of severe coronavirus symptoms due to his age, should self-isolate for 14 days due to his close contact with his son.

I'm not sure if Save On Foods is an option for you but we've used them a few times and my parents are now using them all the time  (they are old, dad is on Chemo) and they've been really good with being on time and picking good produce.

The produce is exactly what I'm afraid of having someone else pick out. Good to know they try to pick good stuff. I'll give save-on a shot next time, the Polo/St James location is very near

To minimize your risk exposure, bring your own bags, go at store opening and use the self-checkout.

GEE I WONDER WHY

I do wonder how many of the people at the rally were actually from Steinbach though.  From what I heard, a good number of the people there were from Winnipeg.

It does raise the question of why the test positivity rate is so high, but on the news they have been saying that even the Winnipeg percentage skews high "because of the smaller population" vs. all of Manitoba.

Which is why it's over a 10 day period to reduce the skewing.

These numbers are not as a result of the protest. This is much bigger than that.

Glassy-eyed mini Donnie jr has tested positive for the virus (according to CNN)

I am not supposed to wish ill for anyone, but in his case I am thinking of making an exception.

According to ESPN, COVID is rapidly gaining ground in the NFL in spite of all the precautions. One team has had its punter, kicker and holder all down with it, and the Raiders have lost 7 defensive starters.

God's will.   If you asked him.

I think, in this particular case, that the isolation time should be increased to 14 weeks, for the COVID and the hair dusting to settle.

Alberta with another 1300 new cases today and 9 more deaths, including a 20 year old. Just a kid for Christ's sake. And our Premier nowhere to be found this past week.

Guess who is taking his bahavioural cues from Donald Trump?

The company Pfizer, which recently announced the vaccine against Covid-19 soon, is the same company that created Viagra.

Therefore, we can fully rely on the announced vaccine, because if Pfizer was able to raise the dead, they will much more easily cure the living.😉🤣😂.
