The tackle on Winston Rose was a horse collar, no flag. The shove on Collaros late in the 4th after securing a first down. Is it just me or does Saskatchewan get away with a lot in their own stadium? For some reason the Riders have an inordinate amount of pull. A potential roughing the passer call last year impacted their ability to win the WSF and we had extra officials the very next week, and completely new rules the next season. I was always surprised that they didn't manage to get field goal return teams increased to 13 players on the field at a time. In the not-so-distant past they would be calling taunting for 99 percent of the plays in that game (or any game this year for that matter). Whatever, if they are consistent about it..fine. The missed horse collar on Darvin is just plain odd. I'm wondering though, can two objectionable conduct penalties be called on one play for the same team? Maybe that's why it wasn't called. Because of the penalty against hughes? I don't know, I just don't see how they missed it. Also, were the Bombers called for holding at all? I know a few years ago, it was a penalty for any player to make the flag throwing motion to a ref. They had a hard line stance on it too. Is that still a thing?
