Streveler - Doubt he can walk today, but that was one gutsy performance DB's - Tight coverage for maybe the first time this year. Fought for every ball and came away with some of them. HH - Mother Nature, the great equalizer that forced the Stamps to run the ball, which they don't do well and added to their dropsie problems. We live to fight another day. The Bombers stepped up and beat them. Dropsie problems were forced because of our great defensive play yesterday. Calgary had some success running the ball yesterday, the Riders will try to duplicate that and will probably improve upon it with Powell and Thigpen, in the case Fajardo can't move the ball in the air Bombers have to be ready for the running game. Bighill was almost invisible again yesterday, Nevis, Jake and the Stove will have to have big games. Riders O-line is nowhere near as good as the Stamps so the D-line should be able to get pressure on whoever their QB is. Looking for Willie to have a huge game. Fajardo relies on quick timing routes a lot, Bomber D-backs will have to hit them at the line to disrupt their routes and cut off the throwing lanes. This year, after the injury, BLM often throws wobbly rainbows. Jefferson forced a couple of bad throws, but mostly it was BLM making bad decisions and bad throws. QB's aren't going to win throwing into triple coverage and BLM is no exception. The Stamps recievers dropped a few easily catchable balls, not cuz they heard footsteps or were worried about being hit. It's because the Stamps drop more catchable balls than most teams and because the cold made it harder to catch the ball in the first place. The DB's played well. His pocket broke down and he bought some time and no one was open for him so he made a poor choice to ground the ball. It encapsulated his frustration with how the day was going and it was all downhill for the stamps from there. It was the play where the stamps stopped believing they could win.
