Its gonna be interesting to see who emerges as the starter and I expect that there will be a lot of tag-teaming behind center this year. I'm actually not sure MBT couldn't be a long term answer - Just getting the same performance they got out of him last season would have him on track for a 5000 Yard season and a 2:1 td/int ratio with 68% completion and a pretty decent QB rating. Pending FA so technically he could talk to any other team right now. The release does seem odd. Sounds like an off the field opportunity, unless maybe the XFL? Also, I don't think the XFL is super picky looking at their rosters. If you can get paid to be closer to home I can definitely see him jumping leagues. TBURGESS Posted February 7, 2020 Report Share Posted February 7, 2020 It's amazing that folks don't see the huge potential for disaster going into a season with a QB who only played 4 games due to concussions last year, backed up by a guy who has only ever thrown 3 passes in the CFL.
