I guess the logic here would be they could celebrate a .500 season? 9-9 does sound better than 8-10, though missing the playoffs is still missing the playoffs. The other side of the coin is if Maas sits his starters it's a big eff u to them and even a bigger eff u to his starters if he wins with the back ups. He actually would be taking less of a risk by starting his back ups because if he loses today to our predominately 2nd team there will be a bus ticket waiting for him at the end of the game.
