I was at practise today (September 18)...here are my observations regarding how we lined up

OLine
Bryant Neufeld Goosen Chungh Hardrick (Couture 6th man)

QB
Nichols all 1st team scrimmage reps

RB
Harris with LaFrance backing up.  Flanders doesn't look like he'll be on the game-day roster, (no 1st team reps and no ST reps)

RECEIVERS
Adams Dressler Demski Thompkins Wolitarsky (Peterman and Simonise in reserve)  Washington doesn't look like he'll be on the game-day roster, (no 1st team reps)

DLine
Roh Bryant Nevis Oka (Thomas and Rivers rotating in)

LB
JSK Bighill Gaitor at SAM (reps were about a 70/30 split with Gaitor and Fenner)

SECONDARY
Priester Alexander Loffler Sayles Randle (reps were about a 70/30 split with Priester and Fogg)

PUNT cover notable
Briggs and Bennet are upbacks
Fenner and Randle the gunners
Wild still playing on the team

PUNT return notable
Demski and Fogg getting reps...

Didn't observe kick team scrimmage

DI's
Looks like Medlock, Rivers, Fenner, and Wild

Thanks. Bob tweeted Dressler was taking Washington's spot. I figured it would have been Thompkins considering his injury last game. Glad to see he has recovered!

Surprisingly enough, I'm pretty sure Thompkins was on the sideline in the 2nd half (in full gear).  Didn't notice if he got on the field at all though.

He was back in full gear, confirmed by Sara Orlesky but did not play again.

Would love to see the team use that spot to take a look at a speedy receiver/ returner. I believe we picked up one guy yesterday fitting that mould.

I feel like we could use petermann more in that type of role. But I can think of a bunch of spots we could use the extra depth at all the same. Especially DB.

It would be nice to have a returner with some explosive speed that could break one every so often.  Now all we have is a dependable catcher who can get 10 - 20 yards. Not bad but improved field position could help our offence out.

With Hardrick back and continuing with 3 import receivers Flanders will sit. I don’t even know why they even played him last week when they totally misused him and his skill set. Personally, I would like to see Thompkins  sit and Petermann and Flanders on the starting roster.

Showed up back at the stadium in a cab according to tsn. Would have loved to see him get back into the game just because that's the kind of story that gets told for a long long time.

lol....someone asked a good question....how did he pay for the cab, did he have his wallet in his helmet....

As suspected, Andrew Harris just taking a maintenance day yesterday after leaving Friday’s contest. Today, Harris is back in full gear, running and taking handoffs from Matt Nichols. #Bombers

Darvin Adams is in full gear and jumping around this morning after taking an extra day to recover yesterday. Nic Demski, however, is again a non-participant at #Bombers practice.

Couple notes on the #Bombers defensive backfield… Kevin Fogg looks to return to the starting lineup after suffering an injury in Regina on Labour Day. Robert Priester, who has started in Fogg’s place, has been mined back to the practice roster.

Brandon Alexander practiced yesterday, but today he is a non-participant. Special teams ace Shayne Gauthier is a non-participant for a consecutive day.

Kick return specialist Charles Nelson is getting some looks at receiver in the #Bombers offence this morning. Speedy little dude. Daniel Petermann is getting reps in place of Demski.

Well that'll be too bad if Demski can't go, but great news on Harris...that guy is the heart and soul of this team.

If Demski is indeed out for this game they need to get Flanders on the roster NOW, otherwise there was no point holding him in reserve all season long.  He can rotate half-time with Petermann in Demski's slot and Petermann can fill in for Thomkins or Dressler when Flanders takes the field to maintain the ratio.

Wonder if it was a charley horse he incurred last game. A hit to the meaty part of your leg will do that.
