O'Shea's goddam pigheadedness probably cost us the game.

That will be his ultimate downfall. His stubbornness in general and his loyalty when it comes to veterans. Even his lack of NEVER going for 2 unless the game is on the line is ridiculous and plain dumb.

That’s something he really has to think about.  If your opponent scores multiple 2 point converted touchdowns and you keep kicking 1’s, how do you get those points back?  You’re shorting yourself a possession once that gap is 3-4 points just from converts.

I know this is a bit of a ridiculous  comment from a very frustrated fan (me), but I'm ready to start Shreveler and let him grow and improve. We have to get better.

Just really frustrated. And flabbergasted that O Shea would leave Nichols in the game.

Streveler appears to have a huge upside......if he was to be the next big thing in the CFL could you imagine being the people who held him back ?

Its still far too early to roll with Streveler, but man, if Nichols is still doing his best Trent Dilfer impersonation and we lose the next 3 (which is very much a possibility) than it might be time to see what he can do.

3 games ? Really that is what he gets ?......I would give him a half then if it looks the same as this game put Streveler in and tell the two of them it's a competition now.

You think that isnt soon enough? Lol with O'Shea he'll probably give Nichols 3 YEARS to figure it out.

Yup, something has got to change. Easiest fix would be Hall and his "defense"

That has to change for sure - but there's more to it than that. Our scouts, how many import receivers have we found? O'Shea's loyalty to players and his coaching staff is problematic, and Lapo's inability to adjust or to use situational play calling is also an issue. Our offence should not be so fragile to look like the mess it does when Dressler is out of the lineup, and when Harris is contained we have no ability whatsoever to counter that.

Agreed. It seems like they go in with a game plan and from the get-go it doesnt work so they do absolutely nothing to rectify the situation, just keep throwing the same s*** against the wall hoping it sticks. Whats the definition of insanity again.....?

You could apply this to many aspects of the team unfortunately.

They did bring in that scout this year who is highly regarded.  Can't remember his name...

Maybe it will take another year before his work makes hay.

Playing Lankford over Petermann  was another head scratcher. Everytime he's in he's a sparkplug & makes plays. Lankford is an average receiver who doesn't make plays. Bad decision.

I was at the game today this is what I saw..

Terribly soft defense in first half with zero blitzes soft zone coverage easy pickings.

Absolutely terrible game by the refs mostly the tiny short ref was the worst. Lots of mediocre calls on us that killed us.

Fogg had the worst game I've ever seen by a bomber db. Absolutely terrible tonight.

Bighill is a must read sign he was amazing.

Nicholls not seeing wide open guys in front of him. Harris was waaaay better.

Fans were absolutely livid at the end when they pulled Streveler. Completely sucked all the energy out of the crowd when they did it. No idea why they because he was making much quicker decisions and wasn't telegraphing his throws. Nichols really locked in on some guys.

Lankford succcks try someone else.

This defense won't win the big games .. the DBS were burned and the initial gameplan was terrible. Today was a perfect example of how this defense can't stop **** unless the dline gets pressure.
