If the carbon tax was lefty, they would have repurposed the funds into some other scheme, like fish oil energy or something loopy. They're funnelling everything back to the people. It's a shell game. O&G is a regional thing, sorry to say. It doesn't matter too much to the big corps. O&G companies are still making their coin, it's just the workers that are suffering. They've made the offshore tax schemes miraculously disappear. That helps the rich and big business. They've pumped big bucks into infrastructure, which makes the big construction companies big coin. I understand not voting for the Cons (as a long time con voter I don’t even want to vote for them). Honestly politics aside Jagmeet might be the only decent leader among them. His father at least had a brain in his head. I didn't like his father but I at least had some respect for him.
