Thats why its better to get Toby to waive because he's probably not super desirable for Vegas. But Vegas isnt going to win this year so getting assets is important too. If they get ONE asset from Winnipeg and it's Lowry or Perrault, thats good. Not spectacular but pretty darn good. If the Jets make moves to protect more forwards and the end result is offering Vegas a deal to take Dano, Petan and a draft pick, that's potentially better than Myers if the intent is to not let Myers be exposed anyway. Yet how many players hold out when they do have a break out season.....Enstrom had a brutal year last year and wasn't great the year before...give back a little...no way Vegas takes him at 5 million...its not a big gamble for him??but would help the Jets who have stood by him the last couple of mediocre to brutal years....
