This is an oldy but one I think of when Cruz is in the media...

“If you killed Ted Cruz on the floor of the Senate, and the trial was in the Senate, nobody would convict you,” Lindsay Graham.

Everyone hates him but they hate his opponents more. He goes after libs, so they vote for him. It doesn't matter if he's a low life and bound to kick your dog when you're not looking, he hates libs.

This is good news. I think Porter will fit nicely in this role. Finally, someone to try and hold these people accountable:

should require "plexiglass " chase to wear a dunce cap, and her cubicle should be placed at the back. in the cloak room.

any sctv fans?

cruz real life guy caballero

"Cheap, dishonest, gruff, and prone to making meandering patriotic speeches for no good reason, Caballero liked to affectionately describe his employees as "the SCTV family," although he routinely treated them with disdain. He was always seen in a white suit and white Panama hat, "

Sorry to say, but this actually worked for the GOP last time.   Hopefully a lot of Americans can get off the cool-aid, moving forward.....

Ted Cruz and Lyndsey Graham are perfect illustrations of why Senators election cycles must be shortened. What is it 6 year terms once elected?

If you assume that the best predictor of future behaviour is past behaviour,  then the answer is no.

Pennsylvania police officer charged in Capitol riots says he has 'no regrets'

A Pennsylvania police officer has been hit with felony charges for his participation in the Capitol riots and now details about his Facebook posts are also coming to light.

According to the HuffPost, Joseph Fischer, a patrolman for the North Cornwall Township Police Department, is facing a string of charges including "obstruction of law enforcement during civil disorder, knowingly entering a restricted building without lawful authority, violent entry and conduct on Capitol grounds, and obstruction of justice/Congress."

He was aware that he might lose his job and face consequences from the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI). However, Fischer suggested that did not matter to him.

Under a social media account with the handle "SV Spindrift," Fischer posted footage of himself running toward a line of police officers at the Capitol screaming, "Charge!" He also noted that there were four rows of officers and he'd "made it to level two" which suggests he made it beyond two rows of the officers.

‘No regrets’. And there you have it, the problem summed up with these two words. A large portion of America has become radicalized with this nuttery.

Florida to fly flags at half-mast for Rush Limbaugh on Ron DeSantis' order.  Gov. Ron DeSantis ordered state entities to honor the late right-wing talk radio host when he is buried

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis announced on Friday at the Hilton Airport Palm Beach in West Palm Beach that he plans to lower flags at half-mast in honor of the now-deceased conservative radio titan Rush Limbaugh.

According to ABC's WTXL Tallahassee, flags across Florida have been ordered to be lowered when Limbaugh's funeral, the date of which has yet to publicly announced, occurs. Limbaugh, who died of lung cancer at age 70, left behind a $50 million estate in Palm Beach Florida and taped his show just one mile away.

"What we do when there's things of this magnitude," DeSantis said, lamenting Limbaugh's death, "once the date of internment for Rush is announced, we're going to be lowering the flags to half-staff." The pronouncement was met with applause from a mostly maskless audience.
