Good luck with that.  The Democrats are controlled by old white rich men.  Warren Buffett and Bill Gates will never let this happen.

You know- if she can just get past the whole Aboriginal claim she might be the Democratic party's nominee for POTUS. Considering the amount of **** that trump was able to shrug off, that one single issue should not be the reason she doesn't make it....

I would love it if she became POTUS- she genuinely has the low and middle class's interests at heart. She has an incredible ability to convey complex concepts into a simpler more concise idea.

But ultimately it comes down to the people, and the people are embracing more socialist beliefs. The Democrats learned a hard lesson last time ramming Clinton through and promptly losing to Trump. The winds are changing and if you can't see it then you are being willfully ignorant. Might not happen next election or the one after, but it's coming. Why do you think the Republicans across the US are so hell bent on gerrymandering everything and suppressing voters? They want less people voting, they want to rig the game in their favour because that is the only way they can win when the electorate is changing to be more diverse.

The Clinton people cold shouldered the Sanders people.......then got cold shouldered *** for tat, during the election campaign by the Sanders people in an election that still could of been won.
Given the obvious diversity of the Dem candidates, moving forward....will be interesting to see if the Democrats have absorbed that lesson.

Unless you live in the US, I don't know how you can make this claim about "the people".  "Socialist beliefs"?  Really?  Now it's a religion?  "Socialist beliefs" have been tried and failed.  When you pay those who don't do anything to do nothing, you are doomed to fail.  Socialist beliefs are just that - belief in a fairy tale.

yes.  That's what they said about Hugo Chavez.  And those people in Venezuela are now eating cats to survive.

Who said that about Chavez?

What does that have to do with Warren?

You honestly think 'merica is going to be like Venezuela and people are going to eat cats?

Holy Hyperbole Batman...

Ok- you really didn't make a clear point here, so I am going to assume you meant that if Warren is elected, 'mericans are going to be eating cats?

With a Great deal of certainty- I say that you are wrong.

Why on Earth does 17to85 have to live in the states to make that claim? Do you live in the states? Even if you do... that only affects your immediate location- you would still have to rely on the same means that 17to85 uses to make his comments. You have made countless cockamamie references to "them, "they" and "the people" why does your referencing them hold more validity than 17to85's?

Why are you bringing in religion into what 17to85 said?

LOL - "hit pieces" - yes, that's what they are all right.  We live in such a 1984 world now.  Everything is spun and truth is always the casualty.

She's golden all right - solid gold for the Republicans to continue to show that the Democrats are unelectable.  She's the gift that keeps on giving for them, as she continues to serve up stupidity at a staggering rate.

and while that's happening, the elites in the Democrat party will be stabbing her in the back.  If they aren't already.

yes, the parallels to Trump are quite stunning.  As are the parallels to her base and Trump's base.  They both enjoy seeing rudeness and "smack downs" of the media.  Here's another Democrat who is "smacking down" the media Trump style, being incredibly rude to CNN, the Democrats best friend...

#MAGA!!! It's like looking in a mirror!

Yeah- they are hit pieces. How are they all right? The first video where the IRS chairman corrects her about one aspect- the dark money. That is simply an difference in semantics. and the fact that was the only thing he took umbrage with.... well as another poster pointed out.... if 9 in 10 things said are correct- the cons latch on to that 1 single point and claim VICTORY! while ignoring the rest of the 90% which is factual... cherry picking at it's finest.

There is no doublespeak or newspeak here. Truth is alive and well.

Well... we'll see. she is gold for trumps base- but vilifying her in such a "scream at the camera" way does nothing to expand the GOP base.... it merely alienates the demographics they are trying to expand: the young, the educated, women and people of colour. That is a SOLID plan- buncha dumdums (the GOP not you KBF).

Of course there is going to be push back.... it is a party. Comprised of a lot of different people. Everyone trying to make their point and angle for more spotlight for their constituents... yeah- that's politics. It's normal. It's expected.   As for bringing out knives and all that jazz... that's quite a bit of hyperbole and has no real basis here.

equating trump to Ilhan Omar  is a false equivalent... if only trump was like Omar- things would be better.

I think he's totally off the reservation posting all the obviously biased videos expecting them to be taken seriously. It's like bring in a clip from Fox News to prove someone's opinion.

It all started to go sideways yesterday with the whining about being attacked, blathering about Big Brother, posting a story from Bulgarian Breitbart, and claiming to be a moderate, rational voice in this thread.Image result for simpsons cuckoo

I did bring in a clip from Fox News.  It's obvious that I'm not posting these for you guys, because you don't even watch them.  I honestly don't care if the closed mind brigade here doesn't take what I say seriously.  I just want to be stating this stuff for the record.  Like I said that Trump would be elected well before he was. Now I am telling you that politicians like Omar and AOC are going to be stabbed in the back like Sanders was in 2016, and that it has to happen if the Democrats have any chance of winning the election.  You can continue to be naïve and not listen, that's your choice.  But I think it's been a great experiment into what is happening all over.  Those that want AOC to succeed are not going to acknowledge her constant failings.  And her unelectability.  And you still won't, when the Dems lose again.  And that's the perfect way to just keep losing.

Why did it go "sideways"?  Because I was saying things that you don't want to hear?  Oh no!  This is so sad.  Such utter cowardice.  Unbelievable.  Anyway, time will tell who is right.  I see a lot of AOC pumping going on right now.  It will be interesting if you guys still are doing this in 2020.

Watch Tucker Carlson getting owned.

Watch Fox News host Tucker Carlson call one of his guests a 'tiny brain...moron' during an interview. NowThis has obtained the full segment with historian Rutger Bregman that Fox News is refusing to air. pic.twitter.com/kERYPUaGLY

What an echo chamber. I listed the reasons you lost it, BTW. In that very post you quoted.

And to be clear, nobody here is doing anything now or will be in 2020. Unless anyone here has US citizenship and can actually vote. It is literally nothing more than a discussion on a forum.

That being said, maralagobomberfan, you should try not to get so worked up over this. Because again - it's literally nothing more than a discussion on a forum.
