  1. Can't make up my mind which team to cheer for in this game. Is it better for the Bombers to let Edm. run away, or put BC down? In all honesty I would rather face Cgy. in the playoffs than Edm. with Reilly.
  2. You need to re-watch the entire game as you're analysis is off by quite a bit. The Ti-Cats were by far the superior team on both O and D through most of the game. The Argos did look good in garbage time though, I'll give them that. If the Bombers can beat the Ti-Cats this week I'll be both surprised and impressed. The game stats say otherwise I guess I'll have to watch the game again to see what actually happened then. The stats indicate the Argos should have won. Thanks.
  3. Anyone remember this show? Loved the Wicked Witch of the West.
  4. If Harper didn't have such a venomous hatred for "Red Tories" and would have learned to get along, he wouldn't be trailing Mulcair in the polls. The following article sums it up pretty well. http://www.theglobeandmail.com/globe-debate/the-disappearance-of-the-moderate-conservative/article25836587/
  5. My Dad wasn't around much when I was a kid, but Mr. Peabody did a good job of filling in.
  6. From that photo I had no idea that he was crying, it looks like he's wincing. Men that shave their heads really should not cry, but wincing is okay.....Messier was a pretty good wincer.. Little known fact Messier holds the world record for a sustained wince of 3 years during his time with the Canucks.
  7. Jace Daniels or Devon Tyler please, no need to play a Canuck who has never played the position before. I guess Neufeld would also be a logical candidate but I would prefer to see him on the other end.

  9. You guys can blaze away at will on the Riders. I can take it and I fully intend to hand some out back to you guys. I get it that Bagg wears number 6 and obviously it would have to be a picture of him to make the joke work, but lets keep it classy, ok guys. You realize you are on a bomber forum right? I remember all of the jokes on the Rider forum when buck was injured. I don't care what forum it is. It is not appropriate to use an injury as a joke. And as bad as it is to make fun of Pierce, Bomber fans have done it on rf too. There was a thread called "Who will be the next Broke Pierce" that was created after Durant was injured. Also not appropriate. Please don't mistake Lye E. Style for a Bomber fan, he's the furthest thing from it.
  10. Former Conservatives are unlikley to vote NDP but they sure might vote for Trudeau to help get rid of Harper.
  11. I watched the following video on the Zapruder film a couple of months ago and found it really interesting. Especially as people now dead that worked in the film lab at the time were interviewed for this documentary. Even a straight forward piece of evidence such as the Zapruder film has been messed with by the "authorities" so that it's impossible to examine it as a completely truthful document. I believe that Oswald was involved but little doubt in my mind that Kennedy was also shot from the front and Oswald was set up to take the fall for the entire operation. Jack Ruby was obviously the clean up man.
  12. I just get the sense that the game has moved on and Taman is in way over his head. Thank goodness we have the Walters (yes I am calling him that now). I hope he sticks around until he's 70. Two weeks ago the Riders were carrying 12 players on their PR, now they're carrying 13. Taman might be a nice guy but he's either bad at math or a poor administrator.
  13. Why do you say that? Before he was drafted, he said it was his lifelong dream to play for the Bombers. You think the Riders 0-6 start to the season has made him fall in love with Regina? Yeah there's so much else that makes you fall in love with that town...Toothless girls are good at some things. Gross. Not if you close your eyes tightly. I'm getting the impression you've experienced this many times Well yes, I did spend a couple of summers in Sask. where being picky just isn't an option.

I've heard he was looking forward to playing and living elsewhere after spending his whole life here, at least for the first few years of his career anyways. Yah, but when he said that he had bright lights in mind, not wheat fields and stubble jumpers.

  17. Can't accuse Richardson of under-performing, most likely replacing him with younger blood (cheaper) as the rebuild is now officially acknowledged.
  18. Can't accuse Richardson of under-performing but perhaps the rebuild with younger (cheaper) blood is officially underway.
  19. The Bombers can deal with their "imaginary" problems once they've sorted through their "real world" problems first.
  20. I thought there should have been a penalty on that play, Waud basically did a belly flop on Gable after he was already down on the ground.
  21. After rewatching the gable injury I think he's done for awhile too.. According to TSN it's not as bad as it looked...or sounded.
  22. Norwood must be the biggest LB in the league at 6'-1" 252 lbs. They're using him a lot in coverage so it might be a good matchup to have him chasing Cotton.
  23. Hamilton looks impressive the Bombers better bring their "A" game next week.
  24. Steve Beaird was only about 5'6". Not exactly the same size. Beaird was a fire hydrant on legs, along with Richard Crump they were pretty good together.
