Brady, Dalton, and strevy could've all made a lot more money for the same roles they took but going else where.
 Dalton was woli's new bff and room mate. Strevy his old one, and the best man thing at the wedding. They are going to have to figure out a way to have all 3 share a room next year.

Yeah, this just feels like a WILD overpay to keep the local guy. I'm as happy as anyone to have Brady stay with the team, but that price just SEEMS way too high. I'm on Booch's team, thinking we could have gone to an American that would have provided approximately the same production. I feel like it's way easier to find RBs than it is to find elite REC's like Schoen. But we'll see what Walters has up his sleeve...

I love Brady and really wanted him back, just not at that price. I don't feel a RB is ultimately worth it. Hope I'm wrong.

Thank you! Not getting worse thankfully, have basically had a bad chest cold and exhaustion since late November. Not the flu, not COVID, not strep, doctors really don't know what's going on with me. My best guess is long COVID.

They can agree to terms but the current team will still have 48 hours at the end of the tampering window to try & get a deal done.  No deal is official until FA starts.

Getting to 4 Grey Cups is an accomplishment in itself. Winning 2 out of 4 ain't bad either. But winning sure does feel better than losing...
When people get critical of the Blue it helps to remember they likely suffered through the drought same as the rest of us, and they simply want what is best for the team, the best for winning football games. I'm sure some guys especially fear regression because they don't have another 30 years on this Earth to wait for another championship.
Expecting an all-star at every position is silly, but wanting/wishing for upgrades, especially from some of our older and less dominant pieces (Kola, Jake) isn't. I get the disappointment.
We all remember what it's like to be a bottom feeder, none of us want to experience anything close to that again any time soon... hence the creeping concern...
Thank goodness we have the staff we do... they led us out of the wastes to the promised land, now we are navigating being victims of our own success, but if anyone can do it in today's CFL it's KW and co.

Maybe I'm drunk ( I am) but anyone else think the jake Thomas signing is 1000% for character and character alone. Dude knows what it's like to be a blue bomber.
To me it's interesting that we applaud this organization for having character guys, yet now when we sign character it's upsetting.

My first 28 years of life on this earth we didn't win a grey cup. Now we've been there 4x straight and it seems like a good portion of this board is ready to jump ship like it never happened. I get that we need to be critical but let's reserve that until we haven't made a grey cup lol. Seriously. We were in the conversation to be the worst pro franchise in sports.
