  1. For what it's worth... it is Lawless after all...
  2. I saw that too. Absolutely disgusting. A couple of those morons need a visit from the Chicago PD.
  3. I'm indifferent with this hire. I don't get why there's so much love for Khari, he has yet to prove anything and I don't think there's too many offensive guys out there looking for a job right now. The bombers don't yet have the personnel to run a dominant offense. No matter how you look at it, I don't see how our O Line is gonna be significantly better than last year. We still need a QB. Even our receiving core is up in the air. If the offense bombs, I don't see how an inexperienced guy like Khari would know enough to turn things around with a "rebuilding" offense, especially since he wouldn't be working under a HC that has experience running an offense. The best move the Bombers could make now is to bring in a QB coach.
  4. I'm a fan of O'Shea for HC, I believe he has the right leadership qualities to succeed at the position if he's surrounded with a competent staff. If we DO hire O'Shea, our HC and GM will have been a ST coach within the last year. Maybe we can find some more special teams coaches to fill out the coaching staff.
  5. I thought Glenn was a FA too, but he might be under contract. I think it was during the bomber game, the announcers were talking about the Bombers acquiring a QB. They brought up the possibility of trading for Glenn... and at the time, I thought it was strange, because I thought he was a FA this year.
  6. Well... Randle didn't last long. Are these guys even getting a legit chance? Has the coaching staff really come to the conclusion this fast that these guys haven't showed enough to sit on the PR?
  7. There's no way the Argo's can afford Ray and Collaros. I'm hoping we make a legitimate push for Collaros, I think he would be good here. I also don't believe the "Winnipeg has insignificant coaching" argument that's been going around lately. We DO need better coaching in place for our young QB's, but coaching isn't the difference between Goltz and Collaros or BLM and Hall. Reilly in Edmonton is a pretty good example. He's had a phenomenal year, yet the offensive coaching has been under scrutiny all year.
  8. Gonna be interesting to see how the Riders handle this. I wouldn't be surprised to see them cut ties with Dwight Anderson, but Taj Smith is the Riders leading receiver right now. Maybe they had some pent up rage after seeing their QB get whooped in the banjo bowl?
  9. It's a good day to be a bomber fan. The RoughRider's get whooped in the banjo bowl and Buck Pierce gets traded for a non-import. This is weird though, why would the Lions give up ANYTHING for Buck Pierce?
  10. Good riddance if this is true. Bad attitude. Don't need any more 'me first' kinda guys on this team.
  11. No problem with this move. He's got experience in the CFL, he's done fairly well and they obviously haven't seen enough from Freddie Harris. I'd like to see him in place for Mainor for a game or two, Mainor's dropped off a lot over the last 3 or 4 games.
  12. Our receivers need to be upgraded to fix our offense just as bad as our DB's need to be upgraded to fix our defense. It's pretty tough on our QB's when they don't have a reliable receiver to throw to. Right now, the QB is scrambling and the receivers are still running their route's instead of coming back and opening up for the QB. The only smart and reliable receiver we have right now is Edwards. If we had legitimate depth at receiver, I wouldn't even be playing Denmark. He takes the night off and goes invisible WAY too often. You bring in a guy like Ellingson or Chiles, who have been dominant in their first year (like Matthews last year) and our offense would be WAY better off.
  13. I'm indifferent on this move. I would like to see what we have moving forward. We've seen mediocrity from Buck Pierce.... Flashes of a good quarterback in Goltz.... Let's see if Hall is worth developing. Something to keep in mind... Mitchell, Willy and Collaros are only in their second year... it didn't take them long at all to adjust to the CFL game.
  14. Guy that's struggled to run a CFL offense... or a guy that's had success... on more than one team. I'm not sure if this was in the works before Mack got fired, but at this point I hope he's Crowton's replacement. Why bring him in to mentor or help the offense, if he's more qualified to run it than the guy we have now?
