Tony Fresco reacted to Goalie in Random Jets News
His ppg this season with not Ehlers and perfetti is like 0.71. Stastny was about 0.63.
Monahans low salary tho allows us to add more.
the more I think about this one the more I like it. He fits the age group also and gets paid less than Iafallo. Dudes making Appleton money.

Tony Fresco reacted to JCon in Grey Cup Game Day Thread. Let's Go!!
When did everyone win THEIR Grey Cup this year:
Week 3 - BC Lions win their Grey Cup defeating the mighty Bombers in Winnipeg. Pretty much when they peaked.
Week 6 - Ottawa RedBlacks win their Grey Cup, defeating the mighty Bombers at home. Don't call it a Crum-back.
Week 9 - Calgary Stampeders win their Grey Cup defeating the defending Grey Cup champions, Toronto Argonauts.
Week 12 - Edmonton Elks win their Grey Cup defeating the Ottawa RedBlacks at home for their first home victory of the season and their first home game in 22 tries.
Week 14 - Saskatchewan Roughriders win their Grey Cup defeating their arch-rivals, the mighty Blue Bombers at home in the Labour Day Classic.
Week 15 - Toronto Argonauts win their Grey Cup defeating the Montreal Allouettes, thus securing the East Division. So many victory laps, but nothing else to show for it.
Week 15 - Hamilton Ticats win their Grey Cup defeating the mighty Bombers in Hamilton. Not many top quality wins to choose from but this one they earned.
East Final - Montreal Allouettes win their Grey Cup shocking the Toronto Argonauts on the road. An upset that no one is upset about.
Grey Cup - Today... today is our Grey Cup.!The Winnipeg Blue Bombers attempt to win their Grey Cup, their 3rd in 4 years.

At the risk of sounding like an old man yelling at a cloud ( I'm only 30 )
What the he'll is up with everyone here lately? Everyone seems so ****** grumpy and shitty to each other.
It's a football forum! We're 10-3 and been to 3 gcs in a row. And several people here just nit picking at each other. Not healthy debate either, just petty ****
-- maybe I'm on my own here but it seems as I lurk lately mbb is losing some of its magic. I only speak for myself but it keeps me away from contributing, I feel others probably too

If you want to put it to rest why the **** would you post in it when there has been one post in two months.. Apparently you still want to talk about this.

How is week 12 and the CFL website STILL can't get proper stats up? This is such bush-league.

Auston Matthews extended 4 x $13.25M. That's a big number. Locked up until age 30.

Started watching The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel on Prime recently... just got through the first season and it's fantastic. Very witty and fast paced... the characters are all very well done.

Big loss for Sabres fans and the hockey world in general. Listened to many of his calls on Centre Ice before Jets returned as the Sabres had became my adopted team. RIP RJ!

Tony Fresco reacted to rebusrankin in Castillo vs Liegghio
While the FG% is the same, Sergio is making 88.4% of his converts and Legs is at 66.7%, an area where he has struggled before. Sergio has 7 attempts from 40 or beyond while Legs has 3. 6 out of 19 or nearly 33% of Legs kicks are from less than thirty yards while Sergio has only 3 from that distance. I wish Leigghio nothing but the best but I'd rather have Sergio.

I mean the whole other traffic light beside it that didn't melt.

Tony Fresco got a reaction from Goalie in The Trade Thread
Jets had one year of control left a month ago, but Dubois, as an RFA did not yet have a contract for next year so there is no deal to be voided.
Also, the Jets did not retain any salary in this deal. LA is on the hook for the whole shebang. The return was larger (i.e. the 3 players plus a pick) as PLD is now locked into for 8 years instead of the uncertainty of only having 1 year of control prior to UFA status.

Hot damn. 2 perfect throws and then becomes the piggyback and takes it to the house.

Tony Fresco reacted to Rich in Game 35 vs Minnesota
The problem with trading this early is the extra 2 months of salary you need to take on. Especially if you are going to take on big salaries like Toews or Kane (max 50% retention without a 3rd team getting involved).
Don't make rash decisions. The team built a decent buffer to hopefully weather this storm. They will fall in the standings, but as long as you can stay in playoff contention and make the push back up when everyone is back.

Here's another angle. You can clearly see the force that the Jets fan went into the Dasher with from maybe 3-5 stairs up. Brutal!

Reminded me of the whole Tim Burke era and Goltz taking a knee to go to OT rather than take a shot for the end zone. And Rich's brother being heard on TV yelling "take a knee!" in the OT lol. I feel for Ottawa's fans right now.

Haven’t seen a roster posted yet, but these NCAA players won’t be there unless they pay their own way. If the team paid their travel, etc, they would lose their amateur status. Such an archaic rule.
