  1. Well, that hailmary was a tough pill to swallow......

Let's let that motivate and pee us off and come out in the 3rd and smack me.....

Hatcher, Lee and Biggie...that's some serious talent hurt in a half...

VA is hurt, that knee looks weak...why didn't we have a decent contain him on the last play!! Someone made a mistake!!!!

    Go Blue.....

Let's smack VA around and dominate this half for Biggie!

The clappers are cool for the kids I guess.... But I like to think we're just naturally an insanely loud crowd that we don't need artificial enhancements. Having said that, there are a lot of cowbells and horns, so I suppose this isn't much different. Whatever it takes to make the barn absolutely deafening on Saturday. Let's ******* GOOOOOOO......

Environment Canada page (always trust the Canadian government..................) says -3 but that BAC is definitely a minimum..... Ell. Eff. Gee.

Nothing beats the sound of 10,000+ fans clapping "garbage pail mitts"...it's a beauty of a sound

  3. TBH, Brady may not even get out of the West. League wide VA has a lot of love to represent the West MOP and right or wrong QB's do get more consideration. As far as MOC overall Brady has contributed more but Betts has broken records and has a lot of love from the league. It is possible Betts and VA beat him out of the West.

As for league wide awards, I just can't see anyway Brady beats out Kelly if he makes it out of the West. Nor do I see anyway VA would beat Kelly. While it may not be my vote I just don't see a scenario where Kelly isn't awarded MOP.

As to CDN whether it is Brady or Betts representing the West, they will win the league award IMO.

Brady has been amazing and arguably one of the most impressive players this season, but he may not even but up for any league awards come time......

  4. Ya as Booch stated above, I just don't see them out physicaling us along the line. They are a quick smaller D-line that can get after a QB, we should dominate this aspect even if the stack it, the way our O-line/running game is built.

It's keeping VAJ off the field. The more we can grind and wear down the defense and keep the ball out of VAJ's hands the better our chances IMO.

We have the ability to beat any team in this league, but this will a very tough game and really big test....we lose we are almost guaranteed to be back in a few weeks at BC place with an even larger crowd, and a very well rested Lions team

    Go BLUE

I say that about our dline.....tho Lawson is not a yeesh guy....He is actually top tiers for a Canadian and would be more apparent if he didn't have to give reps away to Thomas and Bennett....But our Nationals Neuf...Gray...Eli...Dobson...Demski...BO....Woli absolutely blow their National talent right off the field...without question...If we were to lend them Eli and Dobson for a game their oline would be totally transformed...and they aren't even starting here...Thats my point

Overall yes I absolutely agree we are stronger with CDN talent...but our D.line...yikes...although it's been hashed over and over and most people agree there is plenty of room of improvement...I wish we had even some of quality type depth along the D-line we have along our O-line.

Looking at that SASK depth chart...they getting lean/hardup for National starting talent?....Korte-Moore....Teitz....now Blake has supplanted a lousy Johnson fresh off a pec tear....and who turns 38 in 2 months...so obviously isn't the future there.....yeeesh

Another teams fans can easily say that about our D-line........

Thomas, Lawson, Schmekkle and Bennet are not exactly a CDN group to instill fear

I sense a Haba appearance....with Murphy off I think maybe we see Burtenshaw back, and Haba for the Seal.....and with Clements in already for Mcrae, and Parker as extra defender, and returner that this may be our go to for the yr until Grant, Hansen and Miller get back, or some unforseen signing

I too really would like to see Haba! But I don't think he will be on at the expense of Jackson.

  8. Amazing great win....outcome and play was far better than I expected.

I am still concerned about the lack of depth along the d-line and having Bennet as the only "real" rotation piece, but at least tonight they used unconventional rushes and multiple backers and it worked great. If this can be the standard then my concerns are unfounded.

Worst part of the game was this morning..as i got into the tequila on a week day to celebrate the 50 burger....
