Probably fair right?
Leo Lewis rushing yards per carry season total over his career:
6.1
0
6.8
7.0
6.5
8.4
7.1
6.4
5.2
7.4
5.3
4.1
If he hadnt of split carries with Gerry James for the bulk of his career he may have ran for a million yards. Bud Grant also referred to him as the best football player PERIOD that he ever saw. Leo Lewis 1st, and then everyone else.

RIP coach Ritchie. Probably my favorite Bomber coach. His quotes were legendary.

He's either way over the top or is the most sheltered Winnipegger around. There is a ton of cool stuff to do in Winnipeg in the summer. I'm not huge on hanging out in any of the areas that our social issues create problems but really that's like 5% of the city. Where the hell are you riding your bike Mike? I do agree with him that my favorite part of a Manitoba summer is time at the lake though.
No kidding. Theres like 1000 beautiful bike paths all over Winnipeg. No need to be booting around Higgins/Sutherland Ave on your Schwinn.

Got all excited seeing that this thread was hot, looking forward to some FA news and i get to read about how shitty Winnipeg is for the 23487 time in my life. Good grief already. Every city has shitty neighborhoods and a lot shitty downtowns. The mosquitoes havent been an issue for like 10+ years(whatever the hell the city did about them, kudos). Our winters arnt even that bad anymore, a couple weeks of -25C and its over, and were not shoveling 4+ feet of snow twice a month like those jabronis out east. We have the sunniest and warmest summers in Canada, period, with a million lakes to enjoy. And i can actually afford my recently built beautiful 2000+ square foot home that would be twice the price+ in Calgary, Vancouver, Toronto, etc, where i would be paying it off for the rest of my natural life instead of having disposable income and being able to use it to help fund my retirement if i so choose. Best food scene in Canada too. I love Winnipeg, everyone else can eat s**t.

Walters says Rose, Bailey and Gray will not be back
Figured as much. Was hoping Gray would stick around. Wonder where Sheed ends up.

oooof... what a day......
Brutal. Quite possibly the most under appreciated/celebrated Canadian RB to ever play. When he was done playing he was 2nd only to Normie Kwong for rushing yards by a Canadian. Also the only human in history to play in the Grey Cup game and Stanley Cup finals during the same season. Amazing feat. Another legend gone. RIP.

Football legend and a great human being. Thanks for being a Bomber. RIP Mr. Ploen.

That's nonsense. Houston led the league in INTs and made some very timely plays for us that turned losses into victories. Sayles was good as well. Is Houston perfect, nope, but to say he wasn't good last year. OMG. Is this bizarro world around here today?
Yes, and was absolutely torched over and over again throughout the year and picked on repeatedly in the Grey Cup. Just because a guy catches a few 50/50 balls doesnt mean he's good. You dont think its somewhat telling that the Bombers didnt try to bring him back??

Other 2023 CFLPA All-Stars:
Demerio Houston...
Mathieu Betts...
Marcus Sayles...
I read somewhere these guys are all overrated. I tend to agree the players are more reliable than the media when it comes to player awards, popularity and reputation should be less of a factor.
And yet...
Could just be more of a popularity contest. I dont care who voted for what. Houston and Sayles were not good last year. Period.

well if they've been open since December then maybe they're still trying to get things in order, I've always been told not to go to a restaurant or fast food joint on opening day because there would be disorganization
True but this seems beyond disorganized. Nearly every second review is 1 star. A lot of people losing their minds.

With the stuff Spags can dream up and with Chris Jones bearing down on him, Cody's pants would be yellow and then brown after the first series.

We got some at work last Friday from the Sterling Lyon location. I had the Firehouse Meatball and really enjoyed it. Wayyy better than Subway. The other guys were pretty impressed too. A little bit more $ than Subway but worth the extra. Theyre getting destroyed however on google reviews due to the time its taking to get orders out. Seems like its really disorganized and under staffed. People complaining of nearly hour long waits. We had no problems but i guess there are peak hours where theyre falling behind big time. Better get their s**t straightened out soon or people will stop going.
