  1. All the anger at Jake but where was Farhan to help his boy up?

  2. What do you even say about TSN anymore. Just mistake after mistake, high school like coverage/highlights/commentary/play by play. They don't care, that much is obvious. I wish the CFL had options around TV coverage.

  3. What a wonderful end to a wonderful regular season. How unfortunate it was marred by an embarrassingly obsequious display by TSN. I swear if one simply listened to the game recap you wouldn’t even know who BC played. When your entire highlight package consists of plays by the losing team I’m pretty sure you’ve lost the fn plot…especially when you’re ignoring the best team in the league and the league MOP That’s not even mentioning the fact that the broadcast booth would have no problem with bringing in Keith Urban’s dog walker for a 20min interview during the Grey Cup but can’t fit in Joe Pop for a few words when he’s honored by the team and fans at home. Absolutely inexcusable bush league garbage.

  7. I can't see Alford ever coming back - He's had a "game winning" play on defense two weeks now (beautiful pass knockdown to pull the game into OT) As long as he doensn't start to have injury problems I can't see him getting cut.

  8. Canadia media is such an oligopoly they can just shovel as much **** as us as cheaply as they can and there's nothing that will stop them. Greedy bastards.

  9. The level of butt-hurt in some of those comments is really funny. Was starting to ask myself "Is this for real or are they trolling the OP?" Loved the wave off and if *anyone* should be helping up Rourke it was the turnstile that allowed Thomas to drop their QB.

  10. Yeah, he looked just like he did last time the Bombers played him. And, if BC can get by the Stamps, I'm sure the Bombers will do exactly the same thing. to him again and again and win again.

  11. 3DN power rankings: 3. B.C. Lions (3) Laugh it up Bombers fans, you can decisively claim the season series over the Lions. But the only thing that mattered league-wide in Week 21 was that Nathan Rourke is back on the field and looks just like he did before the injury, altering the playoff outlook for everyone. That’s the difference- we only laughed at your clownish behaviour 2 weeks ago. We would beat you 3/3 (or 4/4) times with- or without Rourke. Come get your ass kicked again. Also, couldn’t agree more. Rourke looked exactly like he did against us earlier this year- ineffective and confused.

  12. It was equally horrible during the SSk/CGY game....well Suitor was. You'd think Fajardo was some kind of legend in Regina with a decade of playoff wins and at least 1 championship win. The way he kept comparing the Bo/Fajardo situations was ridiculous. No Suitor....its not going to be odd that Fajardo won't be a rider anymore...its only been 3 years. Not even if you take the short season into consideration. Bo was at least a legit legend in CGY and actually did something there. My gawd, Suitor was so horrible during that entire game it was impossible to watch without muting.

  13. They signed literally every FA. He refuses to hire an OC. That is why he is unemployed. He just isn’t HC material.

  14. Rourke gonna start WSF??? Wow. He def wasn't 100% on Friday night, and a couple times he was scared to get hit. Calgary is going to punish him.

  19. I think Hall's D relies on players being impeccably coached, moreso than requiring high-level talent. We've seen it this year - When guys screw up their responsibilities we get scored on - when everybody plays soundly teams have to grind out the field and it gets really hard to score in the red zone. I get the impression Hall made for a poor head coach in part because his defense relies on him having a LOT of hands on coaching time with his D... running his system with hands-off coaching just doesn't work.

  20. a few years ago, prior to first grey cup, he said in an interview, that he had learned a lot from Ritchie Hall. and this was when Hall was very unpopular with the fans. solid.

    Game 8:@ Mullet arena

Even when the Ticats had to move for ONE SEASON, they didn't a better job of making Guelph a functional stadium host. Bettman should have to do all his meetings and press conferences from the visitors locker room, just to highlight what a joke it is.

  26. I can't blame any of these guys for chasing it, PR makes more money than they can make up here as a general rule. WIth the state of our dollar factored in they are making good money and if activated for a few games it becomes significantly higher. However, once you are booted from one team's PR you should just give up the ghost and cash in over here. Your chances of sticking somewhere else even on their PR becomes remote.

  27. thats the NFL thing...politics...bs....biases and business....so many guys have wasted away with nothing to show for it, as their careers amounted to nothing...Strev is right in the sweet spot for how guys are used and abused.....Schoen will be in a similar spot...minus the couple yrs of PR stashing...He wont get a legit shot if he tries...he's a walk on...undrafted...2x fail at tryouts, and the coupe de grace...a CFL defectee....if he isnt offered upfront money he should sign a 2..3 yr deal here...with the guaranteed money like others are doing....not to mention he gonna be 27 during the yr next year...

  28. I was going to say his lack of mobility was a most certainly a change for Rourke but then I looked at the stats from the game against us earlier in the year. Zero rushing attempts - the only team he could not run against. I'm guessing Calgary's D-Line is very much looking forward to Sunday.

  29. You can throw 10k more fans in the stands and a late afternoon start to get pre gamed up too. They should worry about Calgary.

  32. You have to also consider how bad the team was back then. The prospect of getting two NFL caliber players offered a bit of hope. Now it would just be a bonus.

  33. Look at osh. Look at lapo Who you running through a brick wall for? Lapo just appears to not be a leader and that's ok... I can admit I'm not a great leader either, I don't really like telling others what to do. It's just how I am. A few years back in the Mack Era, I remember the cameras showed lapos pre game speech to the team and it was at that point I realized we'd never win with him as coach EVER. I just thought it was the most uninspiring thing I've ever heard in my life. He's an ok OC who is scared to take risks... as a head coach, sometimes you have to take risks and never once do I remember lapo doing that but I do recall a few games losing by a few Tds but still kicking FGs.

  34. I do as well. I love Streveler but I just got tired of 5 years of those two dudes Andy Mulumba & Chris Bilikudi being on NFL practice rosters for years & never played a down here. And every move they made like going to the bathroom at some NFL practice facility was reported on here. I never meant to slight what Streeveler did for us on our Grey Cup run in 2019.

  36. Whether he comes back to Winnipeg or not, Strev will be a Bombers legend for life, after that playoff run (and all he did within it) and the post championship celebration... Afaic, he is a Bomber for life.

  37. 1 - Dalton: locks up league receiving yards and TD title in his rookie year… cfl might as well not waste the time of naming an east nominee for ROY 2 - Bomber leave the game with no major injuries… hopefully Kramdi is ok… he’s becoming an important STer and role player on D 3 - key vets shaking off the rust… jeffcoat, Ellingson, and Woli got some reps and look ready to go for playoffs HH - Tyrell Ford… as many have already mentioned, the young man showed very well in his first career start.
