I'm not quite as old as some (turning 38) but I'm sure what Zach has done in only 2.5 seasons so far has to rank him damn near the top of all time Bomber great QBs. No QB in our history has gone on the run he has (major major part played by coaching/scouting) and not many QBs in CFL history has done what he has. Zach has turned into the just Medlock of qb,always confident something positive will happen when Zach is on the field. Were seeing history and I'm glad it'll be a story I can relay to CFL fans down the road of having witnessed it first hand.

IMO, the first good OL that Collaros ever played behind, was in Winnipeg. Thanks for reminding me about Northern Skunk - show yourself out. 😅

He's done far more than bounce back, I believe he's currently playing better than he has at anytime during his CFL career.

Re-watch the 2011 Grey Cup loss against the Lions, that games provides solid evidence that Buck as a QB couldn't think his way out of a wet paper bag. The most frustrating football game I have ever watched.

I think the view of this trade around the league was one of good insurance but from a place of desperation. I don’t think any one saw us getting an mop in this trade even the mafia. I was thinking about it last night actually. If we had picked up collaros to start the 2018 season and he performed like he has since taking over the starters role, do we win that grey cup too? If we had him in 17 how far do we go? Also if we had Masoli instead of collaros as we often pursued him do we win any cups?

One change I’d like to see…let’s get Harrison/McCrae with more reps on O and let Grant focus on returning kicks. Suppose if Ellingson is back it’s a moot point. Grant doesn’t add much to O as an every down player, don’t mind mixing him in. Seems like his returns are down when he takes more snaps on O. Also let’s get a look at Harrison and McCrae in live action when the stakes aren’t too high for us.

I was absolutely certain that if he was even brushed by a falling feather, that he'd be toast. While he has been protected better than anywhere else in the league, he has occasionally taken some shots and proved to be durable so far (*TAPS FOREHEAD TO KNOCK ON WOOD*)

Yup, I hated the trade at the time, because I didn't think Collaros would last more than a game. Turned out that Collaros is the difference between mid-tier and dominant. I'll happily say I was wrong about Collaros.

I recall an efficiency expert being brought in to assess costs at HSC. May have been the same person. They said the hospital needed to immediately slash $400,000 off the top and targeted shift nursing positions instead of middle management salaries. And guess what the payment to the efficiency expert was for their services? Yep, $400,000.

If there was a potentially better deal out there, I have to believe that the CFL would have taken it. Since CTV owns TSN, that is not an option, which leaves CBC which has been systematically dismantled over the past 20-30 years under Conservative regimes. We can bewail circumstances but they are what they are.

To we fans who were around in those days we sure miss them.

1- Zach was a surgeon and one of his best performances as a Bomber 2-Schoen/Demski,Demski shows his importance with an immediate impact and Schoen has been nothing short of spectacular and vet like 3- Oliveira - huge game for him and a 100 yard game he desperately needed HH- THIS ENTIRE TEAM. The next man up mentality is so finely tuned with this team that the next man feels like an every day starter. O'Shea,Walters and Miller deserve immeasurable amounts of credit.

Yup the Nichols turn around of 2016. The Bombers rolled into McMahon on a 7 game heater and everything went wrong until late in the 3rd quarter. Bo Levi started off his infamous quote almost sympathetically as he shrugged, “They’re a team that’s trying to find out who they are..” before smirking into the camera, “We’re going to continue showing them that”. Kalil Bass fumble recovery sparked a furious comeback. Took the lead but the 2016 soft-as-butter defense allowed a walk-off Paredes field goal to preserve Calgary’s superiority. That game definitely cemented my dislike of Bo and D Dickenson.

We put up with a lot of **** from opposing fans and teams over the years and I saved up a whole giant bag of **** yous to hand out and I am nowhere near done.

Great move, I can see them platooning Collaros and Streveler, not overplaying either guy, Collaros will give you that situational experience that you need from a vet and Streveler can go back to being the gung ho type of player he is. Walters just may have saved the season for a 3rd round pick, take that any day and twice on Sundays.
