Took the drive out Hwy 44 to Beausejour yesterday. I’d been hearing some buzz about a new place that was very Celiac friendly and wanted to try it. Colin’s House opened about 7 months ago and is owned by 2 Colins that have plenty of experience in the biz. Menu is small and tight but everything we had was superb. Some basic items have a little fine dining touch at the same time the triple cooked fries had my seven year declaring them better than McD’s... I'm going to say it.... BDI is highly over rated. It's the equivalent of Mitsy's Chicken Fingers and Jeannie's Cakes where Peggers rave about it but it's really super average. I'm not sure about what Ice Cream places that T-Cona has that you can go to... but if you're down Henderson Hwy Sweet Tops has really high quality ice cream that's tasty.

Best pure precision route runner & as good a hands as I've seen as a receiver was Eskimo's George McGowan. Corners who were more athletic & faster had a hard time covering him. Caught the ball in a crowd or in a small window.

It's naive to think that the pandemic will be over in a couple of months and even more naive to think that the CFL can make any money with 5-10K fans in the stands (Ask Toronto how well it works).

So what exactly is the plan? Clearly they are a long way from one...especially given there is no working relationship between the CFL and the PA. Next question...for this hypothetical Sept 1st start. How long in advance do you think it would take to logistically set up? I’ll give you a hint...I have been told by CFL personnel that July 1st is a critical target. That doesn’t factor in border issue, provincial and city health regulations, the possible isolation for 14 days of players. And here is the million dollar question? What are the plans when ( not if ) when people start testing positive...if you ever get this organized? People seem to not want to look at this situation from an objective, practical prospective. I get it ....fans want football.

Obviously you think wasting money on a venture that will get shutdown within a week or two is a sound business practice. MLB, NHL, and NBA ...even golf are having issues and they are only having informal workouts. Those leagues at least have more financial reserves than a league that is financially treating water.

I've said all along, while I understand all the reasons they're (all sports leagues) trying to get going, it just doesn't seem worth it to me. Just ******* lock it all down until this time next year and see where we're at.
