I read that he thinks only fat people need suits tailored so that's why he wears em off the rack. Dumbass doesn't even realize that a well fitting suit make absolutely anyone look good. As for the long ties, again the reason is simple, he thinks it's slimming. Guy is a fat whale and totally insecure about it. But then again what do we expect from a guy who eats that much fast food and thinks exercising drains you of your energy which is a set amount you get in life (yes that's apparently something he really believes)

Biden has the charisma and zest of a Vegemite sandwich. Harris may be a good pick, to add some youth and pop to the ticket and drive Trump even crazier.

Biden beating out so many qualified women to run as the Democratic nominee for President is frustrating to watch. Just say what they would say when talking and answering questions. Any misstep, small as it may be, will be broadcast on an endless loop courtesy of the Trump channel.

  11. I don't want to wade into this debate, but, just to clarify, the NBA is funding research conducted by the Mayo Clinic on better finger stick test for immunity antibodies. Good news for everyone. But, the Mayo Clinic certainly is a for profit business, that will team up with interested funding parties when beneficial. And the CDC ... not an agenda-less entity let's say. https://www.theringer.com/nba/2020/5/20/21264742/nba-coronavirus-testing-covid-19

  14. A bit off topic but I cant get over how Trump stands. Does he have a back ailment? I see people say he stands like a centaur without the hind part. lol Some speculate its due to wearing large lifts in his shoes (he claims to be 6'3" but is probably 6 feet. Its just weird. I dont think i could stand like that if I tried.

  15. Biden almost has to do nothing. Just blanket the country (and be sure to use social media) with videos showing Trump being Trump. And Joe can be Nice Guy Joe. Another reason to choose a woman of colour as VP and let her be critical. Trump will clap back as he does, especially showing his disdain for women and poc's and it wont be a good look.

    Covid-19

It appears that the Trump "strategy" is to offload the responsibility for coping with the pandemic to the individual states and cities and to hold financial aid conditional upon them being "nice" to Trump. That way he can deny any responsibility for the rapidly growing body count while encouraging the nutty fringe to resist any restrictions. And when things really go to hell in a handcart, he can wring his hands and say, "If only they had listened to me". All the while he can flail around for someone to blame: China, the WHO, the Democrats, Obama, and the CDC on the theory that if you throw enough **** at a wall, some of it is bound to stick and make you look like you are actually doing something. None of this is likely to work, and then we are going to see how ugly things can get.

I’m extremely impressed with Kamala Harris but know it’s highly unlikely. She’s fierce, articulate, highly intelligent and personable. I’m not aligned with all her platforms but this election the world needs her type of DNA to help flush out the existing shite that currently occupies the White House. My second pick would be Elizabeth Warren.

    Covid-19

Trump: ‘I Tested Very Positively’ for COVID-19 I TESTED‘POSITIVELY TOWARD THE NEGATIVE’ Justin Baragona President Donald Trump was apparently so proud that he still doesn’t have coronavirus that he attempted to put a sunny spin on his most recent test results, briefly claiming he tested “positively” for the virus before explaining “negative” means “positive.” Telling reporters Wednesday that he thinks he has “another day” of his two-week regiment of the unproven anti-malaria hydroxychloroquine—which he says he’s taking as a coronavirus prophylactic—Trump then boasted about his latest COVID-19 test. “And I tested very positively in another sense,” Trump bellowed. “So this morning, I tested positively toward negative, right? So no, I tested perfectly this morning. Meaning I tested negative. But that’s a way of saying it: Positively toward the negative.” https://www.thedailybeast.com/trump-boasts-that-he-tested-very-positively-for-covid-19 (As if we needed any more proof that Trump is almost as smart as dryer lint)

    1 point
  44. I'm not as concerned about the CFL not having a firm business plan for their initial meeting. Ambrosie explained prior to that meeting that they were just going there to say "Listen, we are totally and completely f***ed if you don't help us..." and that was about it. He just wanted to make sure they knew that. After that, then they'd go into the nuts and bolts and come back with something more official. I'm 75% confident this is all going to work out and the feds will find a way to keep the CFL going until there's a vaccine and fans can come back.
    1 point
  45. I don't believe the gov't is being stingy. I expect them to find a way to support the CFL. However, the CFL having no plan and having not even consulted with the union is terribly concerning. Gov't is right to holdout until they have a firm plan, with measurables, that has CFLPA support.
