The people who constantly want to mess with scoring have no respect for the rugby code and it’s influence on Canadian football rules. Kicking is part of the game. Kicking the ball into touch is worth a point. The trade off is where the next scrimmage begins. The point is hardly a reward most often and it also forces the defending team to play the ball if it is.

As regards"plethora", I think I posted this before but..... During a funeral service, the widow asked if anyone wanted to step forward and say anything. Like mentioned above it's origins are in Rugby, just like the rest of Football. At the end of the day the point of the game is to get the ball into the end zone. Missing a field goal does that. A 1 point reward seems reasonable.

I would take none of the gameplay rules from the XFL. Special teams are a significant part of the Canadian game and should remain so, including PAT’s. I do like the officiating transparency and having more players mic’d up with the play caller to speed up the game and offer teams a better opportunity to use tempo.

This happens almost every year in FA. Some Fans seem to think 2 things. 1) that every player needs to sign asap and if they dont there must be a problem with, their attitude, their health, their desire or their asking price. 2) that fans have all the information they need to understand why a player has or hasnt signed. The reality is, there isnt a single person on this forum that has enough information about the process with Walker. All that we have are what ifs. And often people go to the list mentioned above. What if he doesn't want to play, what if hes a cancer in the locker room, what if we cant afford him. But conveniently leave out other what ifs. What if hes dealing with a personal tragedy? what if hes considering retirement? what if hes just taking his damn time?

In the event of a tie each team provides one champion who fight to the death at centre field.

I'm pretty sure it will be Biden-Harris and most people will be happy with that. I also don't expect Biden to seek a second term.

He will probably sign pretty soon. The season is still months away though. Teams could easily be weighing options and considering moving things around to fit a guy like Walker in. Pretty sure it was mentioned just recently that BC was probably out. Yes, other teams are also trying to find a way to fit in a top tier receiver but need to balance their cap situations.

If you’ve watched any of the XFL games, or an AAF game last season before they folded, odds are you’ve noticed those leagues have handled video replay differently from a broadcast perspective. Unlike the current set up for the CFL and NFL where broadcasts generally go to commercial breaks, in the XFL you can hear the conversation between the official on the field and the video replay official. In Presson’s mind, giving the viewers the chance to hear the conversation brings a breath of honesty to video review. Personally I see it as: 1: WPG - Champs should always be #1 before the damn season starts. Especially when the entire team is retained. 2: Ham - Could make a case for #1, but at the end of the day they aren't the champs. 3: CGY - Still have the making of a contender, though they have a lot of holes on O right now. 4: SSK - Can't justify Edm or MTL being ahead of them right now. 5: EDM - EDM and MTL could be swapped at this time and I'd be fine with it. But Harris embarrassed them in the play offs, so here we are. 6: MTL - See above 7: BC 8: TO 9: OTT
