Yeah it's a real reach for attention that is beneath an institution like the CFL. The fact Ambrosie thinks that way in troublesome IMO. Improve the product, forget the sideshow.

I actually really like the Franklin signing for Sask. I think with a good QB coach in Maas (don't try to tell me Trestman is a good coach at this point, he hasn't developed a QB in a CFL lifetime) he has a real shot to dethrone Fajardo in the next couple seasons. Fajardo takes a beating and will probably miss some games.

Yea..It was the first time all game Clarke managed to get his hands around someone. The rest of the day he was just waving his arms as players ran by him.

Roosevelt hasn't been a 1000 yard receiver since 2017. If we don't land Walker, I'd rather add Smith and Edwards, who are younger or just go with some of the newcomers that we have signed.

I'd rather roll with what we have, definitely.

That kind of remark reminds me of a very old commercial from the 1960's that I remember as a kid. Microwaves were just coming out back then in the middle of the decade & a sales person was showing a group of people in a department store how microwaves can speed up cooking time. After the demonstration, everyone was so impressed by how fast it cooked. The salesman started taking orders from the audience until one guy yelled out, "But can it brown???' Apparently, this microwave in the commercial could. Most microwaves couldn't. Walker will get paid whether he blocks or not just like microwaves kept on selling even if they couldn't brown.

They'll try this until the travel costs multiply by a factor of 10 when BC has to travel to Montreal or vice-versa and other the traditional format BC would have played Calgary and Montreal would have played Ottawa. I would keep the current format with the only change of having the team with the better record hosting every playoff game, meaning if a 10-8 team crosses over to face a second place 8-10 team, the game is hosted by the crossover team. Incentivize the regular season games and give advantages to teams who earn it.

If it results in the Bombers getting another player like Hansen, I'm fine with that.

We chased Walker last year. He chose to go elsewhere. I would love to have Walker here and he would be the best receiver (most accomplished) that we have; however, I'm still happy with the group we have. Underrated, IMO.

There are multitude reasons for him to sign here..chance to win..chance at playoff scratch..a proven and well known atmosphere and locker room..quality and no question marks about organization across the board.. Walker..Lawler..Adam's.. Woli..Demski...Andrew..that friggin O-line...good god... Sprinkle in sets with Lucky/Grant...damn..and just imagine the space Andrew is gonna have to work with cause u are always gonna have 2 guys focusing on where Walker is headed..and you cant sleep on Lawler or Adam's either..Woli and Demski will have a field day in the slot

I was really looking forward to the season. But now that Sask is finishing first and taking the GC I dont want to watch it anymore.

I see a competitive but kinda ordinary ish team in a division that doesnt reward that too often

Plus if he's good, we can say "Riders don't even know how to make proper use of quality players" and if he sucks, we can say "wow this bum started in Saskatchewan? how embarrassing for them"
