  3. That and the fact he was royally robbed of a 3rd straight Most Outstanding Olineman award this year...but totally proved he was in Grey Cup against the "winner" What a joke that award was not going to Bryant

  4. McCalister!!! Yes. Very happy about this. I would expect him to make the roster given Kongbo's departure.

  8. Mcallister is a Jefferson clone...but a bit faster, and if we didn't have Jeffcoat..Jefferson and Roh last year would have made the team outta camp...especially with Kongbo on the IR...This may signal the end of Roh's time here though especially if Willie is back, as he will have an increase in salary, and if we have Nevis back theres no room for Roh's vet salary If Willie is gone for the year to the NFL...Then a Jeffcoat/Roh/MCCallister rotation will serve us rather nicely

  9. Illegal Curve guys had a great what if on Saturday.... If the D is so bad why don't we run a 4 forward 1 d combo system? Had trouble sleeping trying to make this work but fun thinking about it.

  10. How was he not? Played in more than one championship, won one... yeah he's not an all timer or anything but the dude was a successful qb. Just short lived because of the injuries.

  11. along with Gray and Desjarlais..we are set up well with young Nationals...with Neufeld as our "old timer" with just turning 31 in December...we have a pretty solid group for quite a few years yet

  12. only remaining pending FA OL is Couture but with Speller and Eli here, he is not a must sign. I got a feeling Willie will be back.

  13. Looking into it: Walby: easily the CFL GOAT. 9 all star awards in 16 years Aldag: 5 all star awards in 16 years Bryant: 5 all star awards in 10 years Bryant has quietly usurped Aldag's #2 spot on that list. Guy doesn't get the recognition he deserves

  16. I agree with the decision to focus on Collaros. Neither of these options are a pillar of health. However, Collaros is hands down the more gifted of the two. He's a risk to get another injury or a concussion again but he showed that with all his injuries in the past he's still very physically gifted when healthy. And he won the Grey Cup. Nichols has IMO lost some zip on his passes and has zero mobility at this point in his career. I would consider looking at MBT as a backup should he be available.

  19. both of those are two big (re) signings.... Walters slowly but surely doing some great work. Can't freaking wait for FA day in a few weeks. Also hoping Irving/OB does a "Bombers Mid-Winter Special" as they have the past couple years...

  22. How was it similar last season? Trouba - gone. Myers - gone. Chiarot - gone. Byfuglien - gone. Basically, the entire right side of the blue line is gone this season and it's been filled with subpar replacements with the exception of Pionk.

  35. Little faster, may be a little less athletic ( Willie started as a WR). He looked pretty good up here though. Just ran into a loaded team. Kept coming back though, could have signed elsewhere and didn't. Excited to have him back, no doubt.

I want to see it again, but after McGregor has another fight or two. I think McGregor puts up a better effort if he stays busy leading up to that fight.

The fight would draw a tonne of eyes from the casual fans. The fight itself would be probably a more boring repeat of the Khabib - McGregor fight.

  39. I wouldnt make a change til off-season anyway. And there should be some options out there. With Lowry out long term, its pretty much over. Trade everyone you can that isnt part of the future and look forward.

  41. Not on offence I don't think...no need there really unless they can get Ryhmes...Thats the only guy I would want us to go after, or could see us going after I could see us though going hard after one of Ciante Evans/Jonathon Rose/Jonathon Mincey...Possibly Kanneh if others resign with their teams prior to free agency....addition of any one of them would ease the loss of Rose and Sayles and a backfield of Alexander, Taylor, Jones and one of the aforementioned would be fine by me

  45. This play is sooooo Tom Clements like & so much fun to watch. Big Tom used to do this all the time & leave Bomber fans scratching their heads asking themselves how did he just do that? It takes a special breed of qb to be able to see the field like that & make plays but Big Tom did it on a regular basis.
