Chris is clearly in the first couple years of marriage before the Fun Police has eviscerated the boy inside the man. Nichols has been married a few and his succubus...I mean wife...has clearly drained his zest for life and it is reflected by the distant look of sadness in his eyes. A telling trait of marriage single guys...when some married guy tries to tell you marriage is the best thing they've ever done...just look at their dim, sad eyes and know that is what their wife programmed them to say.

I'm with you on that. I wanna be drinking by the campfire on Friday night as much as possible. I like the Thursday games. However, I can understand why many don't. For those that don't please take solace In the fact that, somewhere out in the nether regions of internet pariah-land, gbill is losing his marbles about the Thursday games and probably writing letters to the CFL about it while getting banned from whatever forum he now frequents.

Kyrie is just assignment sound, and a great athlete that does not cheat his responsibility to make splash plays. That guy is one of the best tacklers in the league in my opinion. Not very often a guy breaks away from him or he is caught out of position. He is also not much of a "look at me" kind of guy. Just kills the play, on to the next one.

Yeah, I get triggered when I think about how good episode IX could have been if VIII had not been so bad. The movie itself was meh but how it ruined the continuity is what bothers me. And I will never forgive/forget the asinine and pointless casino scene.

Other than the LDC rematch there are no Saturday afternoon games. Saturday afternoon games are the worst (other than the LDCR), so I like this.

Aside from Labour Day/Banjo Bowl we have no back to back games, and our final two games of the season are eastern opponents so assuming we aren’t the crossover team we won’t end up in a situation playing a team back to back to end the season/go into the playoffs again. In other words, we won’t see the BS three games against Calgary run we saw to end this year. Also no more than two away games in a row (and two home games in a row) which is nice.

If the cost/benefit/risk ratio for Nichols just doesn't look good to Walters, I would be ok with a Bethel-Thompson and Streveler combo. I was surprised at how good MBT looked on occasion in the Keystone Kops offence the Argos ran this year. With a decent O-line and set of receivers and running backs, he ought to look a lot better.

I don't think the love of Streveler is as high as NorthernSkunk thinks it is. I think a lot of the casuals like his gimmick (cigar smoking fur coat guy), most of the Blue fans are optimistic but would be way more excited if ZC was signed as the starter. I don't think anyone hates Nichols (me included) but most of us are ready to move on. If he were to come back I don't think people would think it's the end of the world... more of delaying the inevitable of him being replaced mid season or the next year.

So we have Neufeld/Speller/Desjarlais/Eli and Gray as National OL. We have Harris and Oliveria as National Running backs. Demski/Peterman and Woli as National receivers. Man Walters has really built up our National Talent.

We have our three skilled starting Canadians on the offensive side of the ball back for next year. Awesome
