Hey, Rider fans can always look back fondly to the first game at their new stadium, oh wait... Well, I bet they have great memories of the first playoff game at the New Mosaic, oh wait... I've got it, they can celebrate the first western final in the new barn, shoot, that doesn't work either... Well they can always dump on their neighbours to the east about a drought....wait a minute 😀

I was scanning the Blue Bombers website, looking for photos or graphics that I could use as desktop images. Hope that Collaros gets a nice pregame Grey Cup ring presentation ceremony or something the first time he comes back to Winnipeg. From broken-down castaway QB to out-of-nowhere Grey Cup hero, that's a great story to add to Winnipeg's football lore; give the fans another chance to applaud him.

The worst thing he did was trying to make Bryan Bennett into Streveler the week of the West Final, but I'm sure that Dickenson was in on that too. Tried to swing with the big boys and learned the hard way Streveler has the biggest wrench.

Logistically, they've already packed their stuff up and haven't played at home in weeks. Probably would need a full cleaning (and fumigation) before the GC, anyhow, so none of their stuff would be there.

Ahem.... The 2020 CFL free agency period officially opens at 12:00pm ET on Tuesday, February 11, 2020. Collaros is under contract with the Bombers until the above date, any discussions with other CFL football clubs without permission before that time can be considered tampering.

If Collaros doesn't pause for serious reconsideration before signing an Argo contract his brain is perhaps damaged well beyond repair, nothing good can come of it. The Argos had to be near the bottom of the barrel in number of sacks given up last season, the only logical reason MBT survived the abuse is because he is actually an automaton named after his 3 constructors, McLeod , Bethel and Thompson. Sadly Zach probably won't last long.

Yeah, I think Maas is a good OC and this is a good hire for Saskatchewan. But if it goes wrong, it'll be amazing because I hate Maas and I hate Saskatchewan.

WELL hopefully it just a formality and matter of time until he is re-upped..a player wanting to truly be here and miss his guys goes a long way..With Jones..Alexander..Maston already in the fold..getting him and Sayles locked in would be huge..and even though he struggled in his last few starts there is huge upside with Rios

If I was Miller I would make sure that would happen... and moot point anyway as they won't be taking the cross over if thats the route they took anyway...and they won't be coming out of the West either...they've had horse shoes up their green hynies for 2 years now...doubt it happens again...their 25-11 record the last 2 years is the weakest and least rounded team of that record I can think of in decades

If you look at it, we paid a 3rd rounder to Clemons for the Grey Cup + a 5th rounder. That's a win.

They could easily fix it if they wanted to and they're choosing not to. Give teams a window to negotiate with free agents prior to the opening of free agency. Lets players determine their worth, lets teams structure their budget and roster. Easiest solution but in all honesty, who cares. Just open free agency the Monday after the season ends, what difference does it really make. Baseball does it.

Only if you have a good team already. If not, draft by need & what is available. Let's say we were 7-11 team but Harris was our running back & the CFL leading rusher. Let's say one of our problems was a porous OL. Now the best player available was a RB but there was also a potentially great right guard also available. What purpose would it serve to draft the RB even if he was the best player available? He'd be playing behind Harris & with the next selection the Riders would take the guard & we all know it.

Could be part of the overall deal...a kind of Zach and forth package.

I think it's an ugly look to not have officially moved on from McAdoo before bringing in Maas. At least publicly say McAdoo contract won't be renewed. It's just really bad optics.
